I was told it was around £300 GBP if there were three of you! but this was with Westeasttravel through Thai Airways! I dropped them an email because another one of my mates is coming and I couldn't get him on my Eva fight! inbound was fine but had trubble with outbound! so one of their contact staff call me to to give me the fare quote!

Now my mate has told me he has gone ahead and booked a flight himself! paid £650 GBP with Qantas! silly fucker! Flight Centre are doing a fare of £499 with Bristish Airways all in! probable the same flight he is on! with British Airways and Qantas often joining services together! Thats pattaya for you! some people just want to get there however much it costs!!!

Take it easy!

Stiffler.

Travelmood have just sent me an e-mail £349 EVA LHR-BKK as long 286 travelling together! Only joking 3 must travel together.

Also KLM same price for one person.

These flights have to be booked in the next week or so and must be taken in the next 3 months or so.

Check out the Travelmood site if interested.

As I have posted elsewhere today Qatar airways quoting £370 with one person travelling, this has saved me £220 over best price BA/QUANTAS. Seems a good deal so I have gone with them. :D

After endless browsing I have finally decided to book with Thai, travelling in May. The deal is £411 inc tax and all other fees @ lastminute.com. The big appeal is that the LHR-BKK leg is on a Friday night and I arrive back in London on a Sunday evening. The price is pretty much the same as I paid with them last year for the same period. Thai wasn't my first choice as they were full last time I flew them (which meant cramped seating and poor cabin service) and the inflight entertainment was almost non existent. Still, it's cheap and reliable and the money saved can go to good use :D . If anyone has seen better offers I'd be grateful to hear them, if not I will book this before it's too late.

Is that a direct flight or stop @ Dubai?

Hi,

Tried all these sites quoted. If you are going for 2 to 3 weeks this is ok. but if you want to got for longer than 3 or 4 weeks no joy :P . some people (like me) want to go for longer, then the prices change. Or the last date for booking has expired.

If you wanted a 2 week holiday from I.O.M. to BKK & Pat. with hotel B & B I could get it for £567.60 including transfers (quoted last week from Thomas C.) But going from MAN I'm having to pay £565 for flight only and £80 from I.O.M. to MAN.

Everybody has different needs and prices quoted on the board should include the max. stay allowed and the duration the offer is for. Or when the offer ends. IMO this will save a lot of time for board members searching on the web. when the posters must already know the details

Cheers Doug.

Are you looking for a flight/package or are you simply making comment?

If you are looking for a package, you could fly to Amsterdam with BA for, say £160 return and connect with a China Airlines package, starting from £370, to include the first two nights accommodation.

If CI is not available on the dates you would like, you can fly with FinnAir for £370 inc or £400 inc flt only from AMS.

Typical direct flight price with China Airlines is £455 inc

If you fancy a little adventure, you can fly to Paris for £140 return and then onward with Vietnam Airlines via Saigon/Ho Chi Minh for £450.

Another option is to fly to London City Airport for £120 inc and to connect with KLM for £498 inc to Bangkok. China Airlines is also available via London City.

:P

Hi. Val,

I was just making a comment. If the kind people who post fares etc. on the board would post the max. stay, duration off the offer etc. it would save a lot of searching.

As for the Thai. offer for 2 tickets for £600, which is great, on checking up for 2 friends found the offer had to be taken up by the end of April and the max. stay was 1 month.

Cheers Doug.
