Glasses in Pattaya

I have been brilliant enough to have lost my glasses in the sea at Patong Beach Phuket. The size of some of the waves surprised me and they were knocked off - and I couldn't locate then again

 

I DO have my contacts so it is not critical - but would like to have a cheap pair of glasses as backup.

 

I need a reasonably good and preferably cheap optician in Pattaya. I have seen the threads but don't think there are too many specific recommendations.

Do you need the glasses for reading? If so I picked up a pair of reading glasses at Mikes for 200b. They are the fold up kind that tuck away into a small case you can stick in your pocket. All kinds of different strengths available. Thought I had lost mine last month so i know what a pain this can be. Good luck.

I don't need the glasses for reading - and I just got two pair yesterday - at Top Charoen at Pattaya Klang I could get one pair at 2300 and two pairs at 4000 - I got two.

A really good quality company in Thailand is Beautiful Opptical....I often buy glasss for people at home as they are much cheaper....I have used the same company in Chiang Mai, Patong, and Bangkok..... I even have a discount card!

try pattaya optical on middle road. it will be on left hand side going away from second road. it has a sign made like glass's. complete service there. i had scuba mask done there as well as glass's. glass frames and auto dark lense's were 3000 baht with exam. mask was 2500 baht. compare to usa very cheap.
