I used the Dynasty Resort on most of my trips to Pattaya but fancied giving the Inn on Soi 13 a try, as its a bit nearer the action. So have booked it for my June trip. Just heard from a M8 that he'd heard complaints that theres a lot of construction noise coming from a site right next door to the Dynasty Inn hotel. Has anyone stayed at the Inn and how is the noise?

I tend to party most of the night and catch my ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs during the day.

I also have booked here in June for first time.

I am only staying for the min 2 nights as to pay for the free minivan trip from BKK, but I may stay longer if I really like it. :banghead

From what I already know, It is fairly new (1 year old), has a small but nice pool and is in a great location. I've booked a deluxe room for 1200 bt/night and am looking forward to seeing it.

Wow ! just over 2 weeks till that 'buckle your seatbelt' sign lights up :banghead

Man, I'd better, like, pack or something...

4 pairs underwear, 2 clean shirts, 1 spare pants and about 24 packs of Trojans

:D :D :D

Mate with what you pack, I wouldn't like to be sitting next to you, I go thru at least 3 pairs of briefs and two shirts a day and change my strides every other day.

Bigmike.

Just returned from the Dynasty Resort. Had a friend stay in the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 and he moved out because the telephone system has a fault. Even though Dynasty Inn is nearer the action I enjoy the solitude of the Dynasty Resort when I feel like just sitting by the pool and doing nothing.

looking at staying at the dynasty inn on the 26 of julyfor a cople of nights.

what is the guest policy there?

paul

stayed there in march and no problem with guests, they do have the "guest" leave ID and will call room to see if evertything is ok before returning it.

I really liked the location with leks across the street (95bt breakfeast buffet with fresh brewed coffee) but the pool is really just a large hot tub. they do have nice, new rooms and internet down in the lobby although I never used it (went down to soi 13/1, great looking tg works there and only 1bt per mn), there was construction right next door but at the time no heavy machinery or noise, don't know about now. only stayed the two nights for the free ride from bkk was 1k bt per night, was going to go to soi8 but moved down the road a couple spots to the AA Residence for 700 bt per night with a great pool and really fun staff, rooms were also nice, just not new( could of gotten room for 650 bt but didn't feel like bargining, price drop after april).

will do the same again as the ride from bkk to pattaya is the best!!! the driver knows every short cut and flys and when you figure it 1-1.5k bt for a taxi your getting a hell of a good deal.

I looked at it as a potential for guys who drop in the bar or ask to book them rooms somewhere.

The rooms were small but as quite new (looked last year), they were clean and in good condition. The pool is a joke - just a big jacuzzi. The money was around Bt1000.

I don't think it is good or bad. New and clean but small with no pool. If building in that location then crap. Last year therre was and the Sandy Spring had the same problem.

As someone said, the transfer is free if booked in Pattaya. It does not however save a taxi fee of Bt1500 as you don't go alone in a taxi. A minibus transfer to pattaya only runs around Bt300 or so.

As an alternative with a large pool near Walking Street, try the Welcome Plaza.
