That is surprising (coming from a guy who did 15+ years here without ever having done a TM30)....I got a new 90 day address report done without asking once, along with a new extension, ... sure it wasn't that?

I do not believe so, nor have I ever bothered.

Yes, I was under the impression that so long as I did not change my residence, my last TM30 was acceptable... ie a night in a hotel, a trip out of country, or a renewal of Extension did not require another report. This brings in the need to get to immigration the next morning after a flight in.. ridiculous. I was having a discussion elsewhere about people doing their own online TM30 and taking screen copies of that... it was not acceptable in soi 5, as they wanted the stamped slips they produced to support say a C.O.R request. Tiresome..... I might also say better to ask an agent who will I hope have up to date knowledge, better than my hearsay!

I saw some news items where it was claimed AI could be so good it could generate images, video and audio content that matched a person exactly... and this had been used to extort money by creating kidnap or have a 'desperately in trouble, please send money' scenario.

Am I in the wrong toilet, or has Pattaya gone non binary? The rates... in BigCX anyhow. This is a recently completed paving area, Steven King's IT is living down there! BMW drivers, same the world over. FU everyone else..... This old bar area is behind Ali Baba Indian, corner Klang and Beach Rd. Many years ago my landlord had 2 bars there and owned the world. Burned the candle at both ends, had a stroke, bar business just took a nose dive..life crashed. The area is still decrepit well over a decade later, and dogs make me fearful to be there. Wonder if he is even still alive. Hello, what is the next traffic jamming weekend event? Queuing to get into the mall? This Thai restaurant always popular with in town Thais..patiently queueing there. On Klang opposite what was/is The Flying Vegetable restaurant. Later addition. A place to eat near where I live out of town..anybody know it?

Not sure it is much of a cunning plan or simply the way things get done here.......do nowt until one's hand is forced, usually at the cost of a life or three.

With the long term threat of being 'illegal businesses' I expect people do not want to invest in the structures...
