Anything to keep the place busy..... Currently the impact of the Music competition, concerts every weekend in March, at various venues . will make any attempt to get into town at weekend problematic..... there is also Beach football in Jomtien going on at the moment.

I drove through town (2nd and Klang) at midday yesterday..... traffic wise it is beginning to look like Bangkok. Tried to cut through BuaKhao to 3rd but no better.

Yes I read of this elsewhere..... I am guessing they were hailed on a correct frequency and given rerouting instructions from on the ground miscreants. Israel always on its guard and needs to be.

The rain was pretty local, I heard heavy in Khao Talo area, but North of town at my place it was a bit of nothing. It is always low visibility in the mornings where I am, and I can feel the pollution in the air from sunrise to mid morning. Got a few fields nearby so I believe the stuff coming over from Cambodia gets supplemented by nearby fires.

Yes, they cannot be wrong and want to get their money. One suspects that they only do business with agents, if you deal directly, you will get the run around. I hear tourists, on 30 day exempt, can only get an extension on the last day of their permission.......why would they require that? Avoid attending at all costs, one day it could be a meltdown.

The way trees get cut back here it is surprising they need any space to grow, Anybody see what the butchers have done to the trees on soi 5, Jomtien, on the way to immigration. They robbed people of shade and birds of a perch!
