If Sophon are going to show it then perhaps they are acquiring a feed from some adjacent country. I don't see how they can afford it on their rates, which are quite cheap. Their standard seems to be deteriorating from my perception, the picture quality is often poor, particularly on the 'English' movie channels, which sometimes have audio in Thai or other languages. If they get EPL, perhaps it will come with their current sports channels, Astro Supersport, EuroSport, or Astro Supersport 2. I saw some EPL games last season on them, but they were recorded.

Where does he say he has a land line? Maybe he is trying to get one, to be honest I am still unsure what the guy is after. My landline is a supporting ornament for my ADSL.......only rings when I am up a ladder.

So what is their excuse for servicing the worlds busiest International airport with ancient 747s with poor IFE for all those years?

True issue a special SIM card (Inter SIM) that had good rates, particularly to land lines, for many countries. You use 00600 +country code etc. I have found it to be better than Skype.

I last had a snack in Shenanigans, The Avenue, which I believe is now called Acorn. I thought their prices were too high for Pattaya, but was early enough to get some special on pints of Heinekin which worked out rather well. I have always felt annoyed at non-GGB places that charge GGB prices for a beer, it extends beyond Irish pubs to hotels and some beer-bars these days.

Well the power of the flush is more to do with the tank arrangement, but I do recall years ago, in many a GGB, there was no water coming in and the tank took forever (if it ever did) to fill. When you gotta shit in Thailand you gotta shit! I now carry a small towel and think the bum washers are far better anyhow. MM must be bored and has a new hobby of taking pictures in toilets!
