I bought a Sony Laptop in Pattaya from Numchai, quite expensive but preloaded with a legitimate Windows 7. A bit of a mess about getting all the language options sorted and removed a fair bit of software on it I didn't want. Bought an English only 'skin' for the keyboard. I think Sony supply good quality kit.

Mercure Hotel Pattaya. I believe they limit the size of the dogs to 10 kilos. These are standard hotel rooms and there is nowhere nearby where you can take the dog out, besides the car park in-front.

Well and good, but the guy said he is coming to Pattaya and wants to keep the dog with him. Of course there are dog kennels near Pattaya too. But it sounds like the OP wants to have the dog with him. He even specifies WS and the beach, well I think Jomtiem is a better chance than so central. Personally I would not think much of a hotel or condo that allows dogs (I know the Mercure Hotel does as I have seen Thais with their soppy little dogs there). Best bet, for a 3 month stay, would be to rent a house/villa.... I wonder if the Sheraton Villa would go for it......Britboy seemed to get a way with a lot there!

Yes people get off further out now as traffic starts to slow the bus down. On-Nut used to save some time if you were heading into central Bangkok, now it is Udon Suk. It is soon after you come off the Expressway. I find it easier to ask a local, they seem to know where they are.

Yeah I spotted a large bottle in TOPs recently. Carlsberg was my Thailand tipple for a number of years and I probably drank enough to float a tanker in. Surprised to hear it tastes horrible.... maybe designed to compete with Pattaya lager which I haven't heard much of.
