Have no experience with FedEx but DHL have delivered to my house quite a number of times. I used to get lost trying to find the place when I was thinking to buy. Also I am in Banglamung..... Once they phoned ahead to make sure I would be in, which struck me as sensible. Admittedly Thai postal addresses are confusing....well the number part anyhow.... and I do think your bar could be awkward at daytime..... the shops take over, the noodle seller parks up and suddenly you are invisible without the neon. I presume the delivery guy couldn't read English very well?

Just got December's bill, (and likely a few other neighbour's looking at the amount)......4.5 baht/unit.......745 units. It is reaching about 34 degC here and if I am at the house in the afternoon I retreat into AC! Even ran the one in the lounge one evening....the beast! Oh yeah,the pool boy left my pump control in 'hand' and it was the following evening before I noticed. Water is well cleaned, as is my wallet! Have to start sitting in the mall with the other sad fucks. Paradise don't come cheap!

To be honest it has put me off Air Asia and the like. I would mostly get a taxi to the airport or drive myself as I don't live central. Re-introducing the uncertainty of how long it will take to traverse Bangkok is like going back to the 80's.As to faffing around via Moe chit, it isn't going to happen for me......

I often think the same about the cheap draft offers. I haven't made it into Private Dancer yet on a curry night, I might chase around town for a Happy Hour where my preferred drink is going cheap, but eating late on top of several beers is something that would likely have me snoozing in a corner. (slippers please....) Ricky knows what he is doing though.... or perhaps he is feeding his own fantasy.

And my thoughts are, pass some blame to the system that allowed her to purchase them in the first instance. Her responsibility is far from absolute, most goes to the son, some goes to whoever sold the weapons to her. She isn't a qualified psychiatrist and it is far from unusual for a mother to give undeserved support of her offspring. I believe she was planning to have him committed which put him over the edge. I am sure many legal weapons are not secure in homes around the USA, as it would partly defeat the reasons for having them...shit I have seen them in cars and being carried in public, hardly secure!

I hide the boxes of tissues when I have visitors..... is that bad manners? I keep ketchup bottles with just an inch left for when they come too...I mean some people are just greedy....and it is an insult to the Mrs cooking to lather ketchup on her efforts. Some of the tricks CCs get up to are beyond belief...... filling your pockets from the breakfast buffet, and taking all the little bottles and sachets from the bathroom.

I may accept her negligence, or should I blame the negligence of the system which allowed her to obtain and keep such items in her home.You are simply clutching at straws here... if the weapons were secured...but the son knew how to get to them, well, same result likely. Excellent, well recommended. Too far South for me....I use places North of Naklua, two of which are on the beach. Hat Samlan and Tankay, accessed by turning left off Sukhumvit (heading North) before Rt 36. Although my recent experiences have been poor, at weekend they get hit with a few large parties of Bangkok or locals and the service turns to shite.

Very busy, particularly at weekends now.Why not one of the Walking St places.... Tankay Seafood, Sea Zone, Lobster Pot. the place where they claim 'They are still Swimming'...Nang Nual etc. I think they are not so good and overpriced but on the decking over the sea there is a good atmosphere. I quite liked 'Shell Tankay' in Naklua.
