When I last returned from the UK some months back, there was a new resident in my garden. A little scary, and at the time about the size of my computer mouse leg tip to leg tip. I have had a run of shitty luck this year, so I was disinclined to temp fate and, since the web is in a corner where I am unlikely to walk into it (I would die on the spot of shock if I got this thing on me), I left her be. Then a few weeks later I had a bit of good fortune and superstition took over, and she still lives nearby, but seems to be growing quite quickly, the web approaching tent like proportions and her opisthosoma (of course I looked that up), is now the size of my thumb. Will she eat my cat eventually?

Do you mean customs, Thai customs for leaving Thailand?You certainly go through Immigration, and there are perhaps Cambodian Customs officials but I failed to notice them, I was more interested in getting out of the sun most times.

Coincidentally I was out yesterday and saw a lot of groups of cleaners out and about, and even groups of school-kids out too picking up rubbish. I think the up-coming King's birthday is causing a spate of housekeeping.
