I know a friend who has an insurance and repair issue (the included insurance) with a new Toyota, and I did get an overall impression of them being unhappy. I believe they had an improved scenario when the man of the family went and threw a tantrum in the dealership in front of potential customers. Did you get a police report, I ask as obvioulsy both vehicles left the scene. Sorry you are having such problems, and it's a nice car too.

I am not sure. Some years back flights ex the old European block countries were very cheap compared to say London. The American guys would fly over and keep the return leg open, and buy all their other tickets in Poland. I wonder if you could get a ticket booked Ex-Poland then a separate one ex UK to Warsaw, or wherever. Also with all the budget carriers, you might get a cheap leg to Europe, or perhaps Turkey. You would need a friendly agent or a pal in one of these places. A bit of mongering in Prague, then on to Bangkok, not a bad holiday. It could be worse, the UK could put VAT on jet fuel!

Perhaps make your mind up time.Either get an extension based on retirement, or do the quick flight to the UK, and have another hassle free 15 months.

Yes, good idea to get back to the original pertinent question, no need for barristers's showmanship. Outside of reproducing those emails politicians seem to deliberately send... for an average Joe like me, I would say it is always wrong. You are breaking a trust and the privacy of the sender, your only likely reason is spite, revenge, generally a poor reason. Doesn't stop me keeping them though, just perchance.

I would think a plastic doll made in China might hold health concerns too!

It was obligatory.I was issued with an ID card, an Iqama. It may not have been required by Saudi law to hold the passports, but many companies did. I know some of the foreign managers were able to keep theirs, and they had multiple exit/re-entry visas in them so could drive over to Bahrain or into the Emirates.. My passport would not have allowed me to exit the country either, you needed an exit/re-entry visa or exit only. THose visas had to be obtained by the company represenative. Things in Saudi Arabia didn't work according to HM Governement.
