It is terrible for many industries, airline and restaurant in particular. I have many friends who are struggling, doing there best to survive. You are correct, Oct 1st is the end for many. My next door neighbor owns several restaurants and coffee stores/cafes. He is wiped out, his home of 30 plus years on the market. An aside, several weeks ago we had a brief conversation across the sidewalk. He has always be to the left... he whined "I cannot get my employees to come back to work. They are making more sitting on their butts with Trump's $600 per week unemployment subsidy.That bastard just wants to get re-elected." I replied something like "yes you are probably right, but in fairness any politician wants to get re-elected." A few days ago we talked again. Could not help myself -"your liberals want to continue giving out $600 per week, Trump wants it reduced to $400 so people will go back to work. He replied "you are right, both sides are slime..."

I too use Nord. Seems to work okay. Have had it for a couple years. I believe I purchased a 3 year special package for $89.00. My only complaint is some sites will not let you in when Nord is on, my bank for instance. I also have Norton Security which has an included VPN. My bank let me in. Problem with the Norton VPN is it cuts out with every network hiccup. Does not automatically reconnect. Nord does automatically reconnect.

Very sad but chances are you are correct. There is going to be a financial bloodbath around the world. Governments can only print money for so long..Here in the US the government has been propping companies up through various means. But the subsidies are being reduced or ending. October in particular is going to be brutal.

An absolutely stunning rendition! I grew up with that song on a Peggy Lee album in our household. My mother use to sing it.....I introduced my daughter to the Norah Jones rendition years ago. While I have heard the Ella Fitzgerald version before, no recollection of this with Louis Armstrong. Thank you so much! Have always been a fan of Gershwin's music. One of the first CDs I ever purchased had both Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris on it. One late afternoon decades ago I met a very cute, young girl sitting at the bar with her mother in a nice restaurant in the Plaza area of Kansas City. They had driven in from Manhattan, Kansas for a day of shopping. The girl was very cute and flirtatious. I was smitten and mother was determined not to let us get together...(I was around 30 at the time - absolutely dangerous. The girl 19--20...). Fortunately the girl managed to slip me her # as her mother dragged her out. Two days latter I drove hours to Manhattan, met up with the babe for dinner. Making out in my car afterward she told me about her ex boyfriend, how 'their sex song' was Rhapsody in Blue....Guess what CD I plugged in....
