  1. The lunatic is in my head...you lock the door and throw away key. There's someone in my head and it's not me. Great stuff.
  2. "My mom didn't breast feed me. She said she only liked me as a friend." "I was an ugly child. I got lost on the beach. I asked a cop if he could find my parents. He said, 'I don't know kid. There's lots of places for them to hide'."
  3. is Travelbag strictly for UK
  4. I missed this earlier. I liked Punisher. My fave of the Marvel Netflix stable.
  5. I have learned over the years not to be too hard on a show should the first episode or two not really grab me. The Expanse was like that. A complex storyline, with a lot of different characters from multiple factions. I am though always pleasantly surprised to get hooked on the first episode. Thanks for the recommendation!
  6. Most of my trips I have had lodging within walking distance of Kiss. I have eaten there twice on my own and once because a Thai girl wanted to eat there, though I would have taken her to any eatery of her choice.
  7. Paul Giamatti
  8. Episode 1 of Queen of the South sucked me in. Yellowstone isn't offering episode one On Demand so will table it.
  9. Thanks grog. I will check into this also.
  10. Well not being there I used street view and cruised up and down every soi and main road possible in the area(s) I might consider. I would see something and google it. When I get there, say in high season, it is typically too late, I should think, to do as you suggest.
  11. Season 3 of Better Call Saul was pretty good. I enjoyed it from the beginning of the series because Mike Ehrmantraut and Gus Fring are in it. We also get to find out how Saul Goodman got his name. It isn't Breaking Bad but it is well done. Season 4 starts on AMC on Augus 6that 9 pm / 8 pm Central
  12. I only watched it for topless Evan Rachel Wood. Thandie Newton is past her prime. It is a bit silly. I am up through season two also. Can we say farewell to geriatric Ed Harris? If I want to see faces past their prime I can look in the mirror.
  13. Thanks for adding to my knowledge. It was not high on my list by any stretch and is now removed.
  14. Wow, thanks all! You gave me ideas for places I had not considered. I was using street view to wander around. Good in a way but nothing like boots on the ground. Thanks again!
  15. ELP and one more from Pink Floyd
  16. Astronomy Domine was cut 1 on side one of album one of the LP Ummagumma. Here is cut two also a great buldup to a sudden cresceno and then back down. Pink Floyd was psychedelic classical music quite often. They weren't alone of course. From King Crimson sprung Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
  17. It has been a while since I stayed on or near LK Metro and things have changed so much and mostly for the noisier I would think. I prefer that area. The LK hotels are out. I stayed at the Pasadena once and it was quiet but I was in a back room. Mixed reviews on other places on LK Metro and I suspect all are very noisy. I have stayed twice at the Areca and it was not too bad but should I go for 3 weeks it is a bit more expensive than I might want but certainly a possibility. I am curious about hotels and other lodging across second road on soi 13 13/1 13/2 - soi 13/3 seeems a bit farther than I like as I walk a lot to and from my drinking. The Hideaway around the corner on soi Buakhao 15 looks interesting. Their photos did not show any drawers to unpack into. A small issue. The Mercure is close. It seems to get mixed reviews. I would appreciate your thoughts. I want comfortable mattress, quiet if I sleep early...I won't be out late evry night. Girl friendly is a must, even if they need ID like the Areca.
  18. I don't know what those links were but I got a message of abnormal activity from my IP address. Not sure that is my kind of site anyway but thanks.
  19. Syd Barrett went nuts...Shine On You Crazy Diamond. If I recall it was from too many psychadelics but regardless he was no longer able to function. I would say David Gilmore was pretty good replacement. Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught in the crossfire of childhood and stardom,Blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon. Shine on you crazy diamond.Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light. Shine on you crazy diamond. Well you wore out your welcome with random precision, Rode on the steel breeze. Come on you raver, you seer of visions, Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine! Anyway, here is something about Barrett. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/syd-barrett-10-things-you-didnt-know-about-pink-floyds-crazy-diamond-225236/
  20. The albino was great. Chayton Littlestone is also and his storyline continues into season three...now in my Netflix queue as Prime only offers the first two seasons as free to Prime members. edit: as not fas
  21. Brutal as in violent, which can't be any worse than Banshee, or brutal as in tedious/boring.
  22. Thanks. I will check those out. I like Costner so I will check out Yellowstone first. I am almost done with Banshee season 2. The tenth episode is for tonight.
  23. I searched and could only find a phone number on multiple links +66 89 752 9656
  24. First the original version of Astrominy Domine with original lead guitarist Syd Barrett David Gilmore on lead guitar, live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQhQeDAMU0E I was fortunate to see Pink Floyd at Winterland, San Francisco for their Echoes tour.
