  1. How's the ice cream there? I ask because what they call ice cream in Europe is more like what we call ice milk in America. From my experience. You are living large, btw!!!!
  2. I had never seen the Matt Damon movie "The Rainmaker" until a few days ago. In it he plays a fledgling lawyer. During the movie he narrates a couple of lawyer jokes, saying the lawyers not only like lawyer jokes but are actually proud of them. Here are the two jokes from the movie and hope you share more! 1. How do you know when a lawyer is lying? His lips are moving. 2. What's the difference between a hooker and a lawyer? A hooker will stop screwing you after you're dead.
  3. Wayne Rooney arrested for drink driving. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4369140/wayne-rooney-charged-drink-driving-everton-singing-manchester-united
  4. I believe Arsenal has a chance in January to still get something for Sanchez. After that Sanchez can sign next season with any Premier League team he chooses and Arsenal gets nothing. I understand that the press is putting Wenger's feet to the fire but I also think it was apparent that Wenger lost the locker room last season. Now guys he wanted to build his champion around are either gone, like Chamberlain, or unpopular with teammates, like Sanchez (who has no incentive to give more than the bare minimum for the rest of this season). So Wenger has brought some of this on himself.
  5. I find it hard to believe that huge groups (thousands and thousands) of people near Manchester live on vacant lots in Rochdale, in corrugated shanties, with no sewage, running water or power and with thousands more living as whole families, including pot bellied (malnutrition) toddlers, on the streets of Rochdale with no shelter, food, water, shitting and pissing in the streets and with absolutely no government help. Maybe I am incorrect and the UK has turned into the worst of the third world.
  6. I think our problem in America is that we are both insulated and isolated. I thought I understood poverty until I was in Manila. What happens outside of America is not covered much here. Maybe 30 seconds on the evening national news. I have seen nothing on FNC and CNN. I don't think we are callous as much as we are ill informed. I think the middle eastern refugee crisis came as a big shock to most Americans. Until something becomes a problem that our media can no longer ignore we are oblivious. There is also an attitude that I am not proud of that encompasses the idea that this happen
  7. Well, they are on international play this week and next. hehe BTW, isn't tomorrow the close for transfers? Has Arsenal done anything?
  8. Thanks forgot that movie. The bit starts at about 15:15.
  9. Unless traffic is at a complete standstill, that guy would have no problem traversing the tunnel, exhaust fans or no exhaust fans. Me? I doubt I would have a pulmonary arrest but I would probably be coughing for a while.
  10. I put forth the first Banderas flick that came to mind without thinking that I would be stumped also down the road.
  11. And MM made this scofflaw a moderator? j/k

  13. Sorry went over my head with a loud whooshing sound.
  14. Great song. Reminds me I did not get it done in my upload from CD to PC last week. I think I have it on one of those best of CDs put out by a local radio station back in the day. Need to find it. Love how they used Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (The Miller's Tale) edit: for those interested https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Whiter_Shade_of_Pale
  15. Brilliant! I can't imagine what you see in clouds! A greenie despite the groaner! Sheep is singular and plural btw.
