I love the place, the location, the food and the bum cleavage but I have to say no more for me. Last weekend I visited twice and each time I ended up getting my own menu after waiting 15 minutes but yesterday I sat and waited for 20 minutes and STILL I wasn't given a menu or asked what I wanted to drink. I have been a regular customer in there since it opened and have always been a satisfied customer but this was just too much and I just folded my newspaper got up and left... Complain??? To whom?? There was no fcuker to complain to!!!

Another nail in the coffin for me is that they ran out of my favourite wine yesterday....I mean c'mon I drink about 3 bottles of the stuff a week, and it was NYD....Hardly unpredictable !!!! Note to Pete...get that ghastly Alice something shit off the wine list ...it made me GAG!!

It normally takes hours in Thailand too.............. .....I am not suggesting that somebody that had invested alot of money in other entertainment venues outside of the effected area and wanted more punters there actually paid for it to happen.. I mean that would put personal profit ahead of Thailand's Tourist reputation.... Perish the thought..

Not from Fedex but with recorded delivery from UK.. Posted July this year from the UK but never arrived to my Thai PO Box near Kamphaengphet. Traced the package on the internet and it arrived in Thailand end of July...Then nothing...NOTHING.....I checked the PO Box every 2 weeks and continually asked in the office if there was a package for me ( normally they leave a card in the box stating that I have a package to collect)..but nothing..NOTHING for 5 Months.. Until I got divorced and handed the key in, giving a local forwarding address.. ...and can you believe the coincidence......I mean pure effing luck or what.......but the package arrived the next day at the forwarding address about 500 yards from the Post Office....

but with the same prices???

I have never had a bad meal too..only bad service which was dealt with in another thread...I bloody love the place..... again I sense an underlying problem here..

Yep I agree with this too......I am a very agreeable person as a multitude of drunken farangs confirmed last night!!.......I am on the middle road on this one especially saying earlier that there was no manager on duty to help her staff...but bloody hell to go back a second time and NOT tell them of your previous bad experience and then order the same thing...without complaining about the result.....I don't know...I really really don't know what this is about.

I was out and about yesterday with the intention of going for a curry at night but there was just so much free food of such good quality being put in front of me all over the place that I just didn't want dinner.... how the hell places make money on asking you to PAY for food at this time of year God knows.... but good luck anyway..

Did you speak to the server and Manager about your previous experience BEFORE you ordered???..Did you say fries not wedges?? I was in on Sunday and a guy ordered the raw prawn Thai salad without realizing the prawns would be raw....No problem..it was whisked away. Prawns cooked and salad returned to the customers satisfaction.. I know because he joined me on my table to keep out of the sun..

I am posting from there again after having a bloody good meal well served......with a bit of bum cleavage thrown in for free from one of the girls..!!

She is also the one that turned up late and was unable to support her staff and help a customer in my example above..

I am posting from there now and have had excellent service and food but a guy sitting opposite me was obviously displeased with his service. Unfortunately he really did get too verbally aggressive with his server and it was obvious to me they were pretty damned frightened to go back to his table cos it certainly seemed to me that he was going to offer physical violence.... The Duty Manager turned up about 15 minutes ago after the guy had left..................

Were you "forced" to sit by the window in those god awful bench seats?? I have forgotten what the sign says on the big table...Is it seating for 6 only???? Anyway, they would rather split up a group of 5 people and " force" them to sit by the window on separate tables not even next to each other and leave the big table free in case a group of 6 turned up.... I am also embarrassed to say that a girl was sacked there for having the audacious attitude of trying to provide a good service to me by showing the content of their wine fridge.... I have since posted good things about their food but the ownership sucks big time!!

I can see both sides of this thread having complained in the past about service there but since then my food, wine and service has been perfect..

Yep, just my opinion and experience too...that is what the forum is about. I live at the bottom of soi 16 and often walk past it too.Almost always I have, like you, never smelt anything but on the two occasions I have eaten there the food and smell was bad enough for me to never to want to return. I have never smelt anything bad at PBG ...other than the road leading to it...and WS .. I just want to say again that my posts are based on experience as a customer and as such maybe exactly the opposite to yours and many others due to personal taste...and the prevailing wind conditions at the time......
