  1. Hhahahaha...bloody excellent....you have to look at it slightly off centre to get the full effect!!
  2. Same as me... English but live in LOS... I thought the word before country said "Location"...but I don't have my reading glasses on..
  3. I only mentioned Delta because of LTGR's response to mine..As far as I amm concerned KLM and Kenya airways tick ALL the boxes for me..
  4. I really do understand where you are coming from on this and of course my post was severe,,, I remember around '92 in Beijing a bunch of expats got together and started a band that used to play on a Sunday afternoon in a hotel bar for free...it became VERY popular with the expats..so the hotel started charging entance!!..That was it..everybody stopped going...No matter how much money the hotel paid "proffessional" bands it remained empty till I left in '94...
  5. If your concern is purely cultural then why not just ask people into a local park to play for free and people listen for free just chip in for any permitting or land rental costs..?? I have no problems with Westerners getting arrested for not having a work permit or not paying tax on their incountry earnings...teachers, musicians or bar owners alike..Same as the Polish in England that have taken up my sons' job....If you expect to get paid then get a permit and bloody well pay tax on it! Yanks and English alike rightly complain about illegal workers in their countries...why should we e
  6. Not quite sure if I can explain this properly but where the road loops around when it reaches WS there are a few market alleyways on the inside of the loop. There is a cobbler in there that the missus goes to for emergency repairs when we are in town..
  7. Another good point is to join some sort of hotel point scheme that gives you airmiles.. I joined this one in Feb.. http://www.clubcarlson.com/home.do I stayed in the Radisson in Fornebu, Oslo for about 8 weeks on business and earned 60,000 airmiles!! ....and I checked..they dish out airmiles for Delta too..
  8. Loyalty to club for sure but what about his country ?..Did Soljskaer retire from playing for Norway so early??...and Scholes was playing club football in his own country FFS.
  9. There is an even darker side to this though mate....Bloody Plottini is in the background rubbing his hands with anticipation......and his first aim will be to make a GB team represent England, Scotland and Wales...I shudder at the thought.....
  10. I took a reward flight from Dar es Salaam to BKK via Dubai.....with a 9 hour bloody stop over...with 2 flights leaving before mine with empty seats.....After much stomping my fist at the Skywards desk they eventually put me on the second flight....Just to get rid of me..Never again..
  11. Nothing to do with football mate...the geezers with the great big fluffy hats on are guards..the short fat bastards in the Tower of London are beefeaters.....Sorry to have sounded so critical..
  12. Just watched the post match press conference on BBC World News...Arshole Wenger should watch it too.. to learn how to be gracious in defeat.... As for the match....I watched it on my PC.. Fox sport via Sopcast...and the tosser American described the cup being carried out by Beefeaters....
  13. Whilst there...or indeed any complex you like...check out the notice boards for any condo sales and cut out the middle man!!
  14. Excellent. I hadn't realised others did lifetime miles..I am always looking for new schemes. I visited the site but couldn't find a list of partners..I am only interested in schemes that fly from LOS to most parts of Africa, Europe and Asia..
  15. I have PMed you about mine in Naklua...
  16. But if he deals directly with the owner on here it would be cheaper....Just use the agencies as a benchmark price...
  17. Where do you want and how much you want to pay?
  18. You also forgot to factor OUT the successful marriages......
  19. Simples! KLM cos their miles are lifetime ...i.e.You don't have to use them up by a predetermined time.. Also I racked up loads of miles by flying business class to and from Africa with their partner Kenya airways...
  20. I have to say that last years eruption led to my best night ever in Patts...My eldest son ( 26) was visiting and had just spent 2 weeks in the village when it became obvious that his return flight was at risk....We left home at 2am to get to the airport in time for his 7am checkin....after two hours of being moved from counter to counter joining long queues each time he was told he would have to stay an extra week..So we drove straight down to Patts...pint of cider and pork pie in the Queen Vic then hit the bars and Gogos..including FLB but nobody knows me there.... We got totally ratassed and
  21. Not quite sure when me and the missus will be in town as it depends on my current contract but if we are there we will be there!! I support England and Stormers...the missus supports whoever is playing against England and Sharks....Yep we DO fight!!
  22. Hate it like I hated it when PA changed and I haven't posted there since..Not too bad on my 3G dongle here in Norway but when I get home on good old EDGE in the village it will be a waste of bloody time logging in...
  23. Yeh...when their fans get to Stoke...if they can find it!! Have a good one everybody.....I am in Oslo and at 8 pounds a pint in a bar I am watching it in my loom!
  24. The problem with Sabai Resort is having to cross that bloody road to get to the bars every day..Whereas Sabai Lodge and Sabai Wing you only have to cross it to get to big C..So it depends on the type of holiday you intend to have!! I find both Asiarooms and Agoda have competative pricing but I was able to get a better price by going direct to them by email...Although I did want 3 rooms for 3 weeks probably helped.. Anyway, my favourite is Sabai Wing..but now I have my own place in Naklua I don't go there now..
