Hub, unfortunatly it was me who suggested the venue, which was made on the "they only have a set menu, wait wont be as long as normal" quote to the gang on the 23rd!!!!! ooopppsssss!!!

to change the menu and not annouance it was defo not on, we went there purely on the back of the OP, which stated there was only to be the xmas menu, having sat in there before waiting for a meal that was the thing which made me go, i thought with only 2 choices that service would be much improved, proved not to be the case. the growing pains etc posts Pete are getting old now, after 6mths in operation you really should have it sorted, it is not on, afraid after spending 6k+ on all of us last night, left very dissapointed and wont be back until it is sorted out.

unless you can get the new area of the hotel dont bother, old main area a shite hole!!!!!! new bungalows supposed to be ok, but when myself and skygod stayed there i was ready to leave after 10 mins.

rightspot steak/seafood on WS, down past flb, can be iffy at times, but went twice last trip, T bone excellent, salad sucks.

personally never had a problem there, had 3 BFs out of there at different times, never had a girl say no.

from the UK i use gulf air, got a gold card and as far as iam concerned they are great, in several (12) flights to BKK in 2 yrs, had 7 upgrades, it is gulf air policy to upgrade gold members 1st if they have a full flight, lounges are good, the only drawback is you have to stop over in bahrain, but if you get the right flights the wait on the wayout is only 3hrs, great to get a smoke and a few pints, on the way back the stopover is only a hr.

did you get this price from the gulf air site? im stuggling to find it, and as im returning in june im well interested and if the 6hr layover is in bahrain i also have not prob with that, nice bar there.

your pole doesnt give enough options here is a normal day for me if i am not going on the booze. get up, have breakfast, sit by pool checking e-mails and replying, have a short swim, get a shower etc. get on bike do a bit of shopping, return home and watch some tv or again surf net. decide what to do in the evening, could be a few things, stay in watch dvd, go to movies, go bowling, mabye go visit some friends. real boring life here, just like home but better weather.
