  1. damn...1,000 baht is a nice price from swampy! hell 1200 is pretty good for don muang airport. going to have to email this gentleman here pretty soon.
  2. sweet....i hear nice things about it.
  3. priceless

  5. thanks for that...im retarded
  6. Just out of curiousity, not sure if it was here or not but is there a listing of some of the major hotels in soi buahkaow on here? Thought it was posted on here somehwere. Maybe I am blind.
  7. that is damn sure true.....except maybe in thailand, but then again...you never know.
  8. that was pretty cool!
  9. IMHO i think the whole "live like a king" is based on everyone's personal preference. personally, i like to live good so spending about 2k-3k while i visit (or more) compared to the dumb prices i spend here in the states, i clearly do "live like a king"
  10. and it look like the green truck mysteriously shrunk. or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?
  11. point taken. guess the best approach is to smack some sense into him. me personally, I don't mind spending 25-30k baht a month. seeing how i won't be back in patts anytime soon, might as well go all out. Go home or go big(within reason) of course. any other info is good. that way i can make a better decision when/while i am there.
  12. yeah forgot about that. I'm thinking no more than 24,000 baht. forgot that bit of information. sorry
  13. So, my friend and I are arriving mid February for about 45 days and we are other stumped or can't seem to agree on whats better for a 45 day stay: guesthouse, condo, or hotel? we are both lazy but he isn't comfortable paying a deposit online. I know i need wifi and a safe. I'm thinking somewhere along beach road and possibly out near soi buakhaow(is that spelt right?) any suggestions?
  14. true, i normally arrive at midnight. and i do my best to travel light. in-out, and on my way.
  15. That is a pretty sweet deal! considering my average check bin is close to 2000 almost every time i drink at a bar.
  16. doesn't make much sense to me. or in some cases, 14oo baht to avoid teh short line and a walk straight to the taxi if you packed light.
  17. 155 baht!? they better be good. still might have to try one or 2, just to make sure.
  18. I'm probably answering my own question BUT, the 10% off your tab, is that during the remainder of your stay or jsut when you spend over 1000 baht?
  19. 58.5% for me
  20. 529.7 meters on extreme lol
  21. i have been to LOS free! however, it did come at a price of being on a ship for 3 and a half weeks. Joys of being in the navy. I've had the military fly me there for free last trip, but the cheapest to date was $550. Then again that was 4 years ago.
  22. whats more gay? they fact they are drinking lattes? or that you made it all rhyme?
  23. 305.7 meters...it is addicting lol
  24. sweet! another place to get daiquiri's. looks like my usual haunt at tequila reef might have some competition.
  25. Sweet! thanks for the info! can't wait to fly on them .
