  1. What about the photos? Have you tried a google image search?
  2. But why would someone waste their time, adding pics to someones PM? Especially in real time, as one of them was.
  3. Sussed it. I had a different email on the tablet, than I had on my laptop. Doesn't seem to download. It's just there on the internet, I think. Hopefully, the book will work on the tablet, when I'm offline.
  4. I bought it, as all BM's should after LBJ's contributions to the forum. Anyway, I can't seem to download it. It is just on google play or something! .......Yes, I acknowledge am a technology fuckwit! I was wanting to put it on my android tablet. Any advice, anyone?
  5. Are you going to have rooms for rent?
  6. Good luck bud. I'm sure it will be a success.
  7. Lol. We have a cheek calling anywhere rough , coming from the UK!
  8. Looks rough. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Just saw a documentary with homeless and robbed expats in Spain. The UK consulate doesn't get you home. I didn't know that, but I guess I agree with it as it would be abused. So there are probably expats, and just robbed tourists, stuck overseas. And BTW, it's £114 to get a temporary, one trip passport , if you lose your passport.
  10. What good will butt plugs do? I have thought about noise reduction headphones. But really, if you need to go to these lengths, then 400 baht a night would be more realistic for some places on LKM if the noise is as bad as I've been told! Have you got any vacancies? ----- Thanks Redwood. I messed up the quote function. I bumped the review on the other forum , if anyone is looking for it. Doesn't sound worth the money for the standard room. The others, pre 3k , monthly discount, were - November December and January Standard room 27,000 baht/month Superior room 32,000baht/month Deluxe room 39,000 baht/month.
  11. Thanks. Is this the same place? It looks different in the website photos.
  12. Thanks guys. Is soi Honey also known as soi 11? I've been offered a standard room in Honey Inn for 27k. Other places on soi Honey were 600 a night or 14k a month, so it's pricey for the soi. No reviews about the place anywhere , and internet photos look different on their website to the internet. I have tried "walking up and down" soi Honey on Pattayaphotoguide , but the Honey Inn there looks different. Not much detail on the standard room. Pics look good overall though. A review on the other Honey Inn! , used the word " degenerate" and said it was cheap, when I used google translate.Sounds like a description of me lol. http://www.honeyinnpattaya.com/index.htm
  13. Thanks. They made prompt reply , but are booked Nov - Jan. Will bear it in mind for next trip though
  14. Thanks guys. I'm leaning towards January, as it makes sense , but have emailed a bunch of GH for xmas, that people mentioned in another thread.
  15. Thanks guys. You may have bailed me out. ------------- I have been wary of LKM, due to the noise issues.
  16. I found my old Samsung Digimax A6 , which has 6 MP , and thankfully I'd remembered to take the batteries out. Optics info is ---------Does that sound ok? I got the stat list from http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/samsung-digimax-a6/4507-6501_7-31209924.html How does that wall have low light? You should do a photo tips thread
  17. Mid December to mid January v mid January onwards. Do you think it would be better to miss the peak of the high season? What date do most of the xmas holidaymakers go home? I remember barowners commenting before, that the town emptied quickly.
  18. From around mid December for a month? Not over 30k though. Preferably less Mosaic Apts - full JP Court - full English Rose - full
  19. That's an amazing building. Where is that? And shapely legs on the milf Yours and Gary's smartphone photos are excellent quality. To my eye anyway. I saw people in an audience on TV this week, holding up an ipad / tablet , to film the band on stage! It was annoying enough, when people in front of you were holding up their phones. But imagine a wall of ipads.
  20. I'm about to book in the next few days for this year. Plenty of seats left , even at this short notice. Emirates from Glasgow £550. Similar prices up until 19th December ( they increase sometime between 16th and 19th) , when they jump at least £200. I set the searches at just one stopover, and for it to be less than four hours , and a two month return date.
  21. How so? What's your recommendation for a bad photographer, wanting pics of his tilacs?
  22. First noticed him when googling about pigs - as you do http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2013/01/franchise-flop-eddie-biggs-and.html
  23. Good thread thanks. Guy is quite funny. I googled pig franchise, Thailand, as I had got emails from them years ago, and funnily enough, found a Scottish couple who had been ripped off by the company http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/scottish-couple-lose-45k-life-1112948 Scott's numbers are intriguing though.
  24. No. I hadn't really thought about that. He just said he had worked out that 200 pigs, would earn you £35 - £36k a year. She wouldn't have any land rent costs though. She was doing it as the bar in Action St, Pattaya is seasonal. It was an interesting documentary. As was part 1 where a guys 22 year old son came over to visit him and his ladyboy partner.
  25. Just watched that Ladyboys 2 documentary. Scott's partner Paeng had bought the village some pigs. He said he reckoned you would make 1.75 million a year from 200 pigs, which is 8,750 profit per pig. That doesn't sound right. Anyone know about pig farming?
