Send off an e-mail to BKK hotels and get answers next day. Send e-mail off inquiring about rooms to Pattaya hotels and get answer........never! WTF?? Anyone else having this problem? Is Pattaya that packed months in advance that they just ignore inquiries? What's going on down there??

Hi Patna, thanks for the link and review. When you say the construction noise did not bother you is that because there wasn't much noise or because you just don't care about noise? Would the average tourist be concerned about the noise? Do you know or have a guess when the construction in that area will be completed? It seems like it has been going on forever!!!!!!!!!!!! Also what do you mean by there is a heavy penalty for cancellations? And I have never heard of a hotel charging for changing dates!! Did you book directly with hotel or a middleman? Thanks!!

Any new reviews on SEA ME SPRING TOO hotel on Soi 10? Are the rooms value for money? How does it compare to Sea Me Spring next door, pretty much the same? And the important question.....is construction near this hotel finally done? Thanks!

Is the Sea View Room worth 700 baht more than the Me Room? Is the ocean view very good? ( From photos posted, it seems that the hotel is quite a bit down Soi 10 and a fair distance from the sea??) Any new buildings going up soon that can cause noise and obstruct the sea view? Do all the Me rooms have balconies and how are their views? Comments and opinions welcomed. Thanks! :)

At this hotel, can you reserve a room over the Internet directly with them and then pay at end of your stay (as usual with most hotels) or do they insist on payment at time of reservation? Do they allow cancelations? In this age of coups, floods, and riots, I don't think it would be wise to "pay up front"
