  1. NIce that it was OK. Too bad you were ill. Hope all is well now? So, is Lam now playing blues primarily?
  2. Dave, point well taken as it has been a while since I have been in. Apparently there has been changes made in the musical presentation since my last visits. How did the blues jam go?
  3. My thoughts exactly. Barcardi is no doubt considered a "call drink" and is more expensive than the rum one would be served at happy hour. Same would apply to any brand name liquor. I sure wouldn't expect Jack Daniels whiskey at Happy Hour price!
  4. Damn, Pap! This is the second thread I've read in 5-minutes where you were slamming someone. What's the deal? I have been to TQ-2 many times and have found some hot ladies there. But, I can understand that tastes for women vary, etc. And, I have also found that group pictures on stage, such as these, do not always tell the true story of how the ladies look in person. Maybe the ones you would like have already been bar fined? Just for the record, Alf is no geezer, nor self-made millionaire but runs a successful club as he gives the mongers what they want. And, yes, he does have a wide circ
  5. Damn, Pap! No need to attack the guy personally just because he disagreed with you! Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed in the morning?
  6. Who is that beautiful lady in the Pink? Grrrr! The renovated bar looks great! Glad you are back up and running!
  7. Alf: Wish I could have been there! Happy Big 50! Do you remember much about your party?
  8. Love your four little visitors! Interesting point about the ST rooms. How far is from PBG to the closest ST room, and if you know, what is the fee for loom? If a good distance and more expensive than the 100 baht that was mentioned, I see where this could be a determining factor with some of the ladies. But, on the other hand, didn't seem to be a factor with the BKK BG but then again my hotel was close by. So, all said, I just confused myself? Tink I need another beer!
  9. Wile E. Coyote. True fact, no two e's. Coyote Ugly movie. Probably explanation. Neither Coyote ends with two e's. Fact.
  10. Alf: You old houndog! Did you BF # 14?
  11. OK! But, why not all five of them? Should make for a very merry evening. And, you could give special attention to the two on the left. That would be my game plan going into action. Then again, who knows how it would flow? Maybe the two on the right might just be the better of the five? Yeah, I would take all five and the suspense would be killing me right up to "Action Time!" It sure would be fun finding out!
  12. Paul: While Tim was gone did he learn how to use the computer? Or, are you going to have to do all the boardspeak for Tim? I'm glad that Legs has Pen & Tim as I know it will be well run and as I stay in the area when in town, it will be like home away from home.
  13. Dave: Suggest you get a local musician to ramrod the jam. A good jam takes a lot of effort to put together and to run it properly. Pacing is important as are a lot of other things. IMO, one night would be proper, otherwise you will get stretched too thin on participants. A well organized jam, presented in a professionl manner is a lot of fun. The method it is done and presented is important as if it gets "sloppy" my bet is that you will not find many customers. That is why it is so important to have a good organizer to run the jam. Good idea and Good Luck!
  14. Pete: Thanks for the update and continued, even better success!
  15. Hi Pete: I'm really not a pool player, but I know that there are many that play and enjoy the game. Yep, nothing like watching a good looking lady in a mini-dress bending over the table for a shot! Agree with the sign up board if you decide to install a table.
  16. Mr. Kicker: Yep, I know Hybrid and he has a lovely wife, and a new healthy baby boy. I agree with your last paragraph. It is on his mind, so go do it. Again, end of story! And, may they all three live happily ever after! Mr. Sailor: In this case, Hybrid is CONSIDERING having the test done for his own peace of mind.
  17. Hybrid: Obviously you want to know, for peace of mind, so go and have the test done. End of story.
  18. WOW! Congrats! Just picked up on this topic, Daddy! Guess it is way too late to submit a name, but it is obvious to me the perfect one would have been Willie! I'm sure you get my drift! Now I understand why you were up country. Give my best to your lovely wife! I'm glad that all turned out well.
