This same topic is on the Secrets board and I responded. Alan: Take good care of her and don't rush her to BF. And, make sue her first time especially, and subsequent times, are not with some drunk idiot or hooligan. Guy's I give this lady a lot of credit and in fact feel sorry for her. If I were there now I would BF her, take her out for dinner at a nice restaurant, to a movie with Thai subtitles, and do whatever she would like to do.

A computer would surely be the answer. Program what you want, adjust the volume level and forget it! Misty's has their music on a computer and it works very well.

Mr. RB: Guess I am too old then! But, as far as the shower goes, I would rather do it with a cute Thai lady than to sing in it! I know loudness of music is a problem with a lot of us as I constantly read about it on the boards. I also know it is a concern of Alan Lad as he has a "decible gun" and checks the level alot. I don't say it has to be "background music" as music is part of the happenings. But, it is nice when one can converse with the person sitting next to him without hollering or screaming. My suggestion: Any type doable but forget Hip-Hop.

Sa-teef: Even a little country/ rock by old RJ? Agree with the loud statement as it has kept me from going back to some bars that I enjoy but just can't tolerate the decible level!

Shane: You are dispelling a lot of bull shit! 1. Apparently you are doing just fine with the 400 baht BF and 200 after midnite. 2. Apparently you have had no problem finding and hiring more ladies. So, what do some of the other greedy owner's have to say about this? 1. Have heard that they can't keep ladies if their BF is not high. Example is Boesche that charges 1000 baht BF and this is for ST only before midnight. Have heard them state that because of the increase in clubs that they have a problem staffing ladies to work their clubs. Too many clubs, not enought ladies with the excuse that "this is what we have to do." Now, even two A/C bars that have ladies, Rockhouse and Lennies are thinking of rasing their BF's! Where is this crap gonna end? I am gald at least that you are suffering no business loss as a result of your lowered BF and glad to hear that you are going to extend it for another month for February. It woudl be nice if it worked into a regular thing. Keep promoting! I sure as hell wil support you when I am there.

Pie: Yep, Agree, Internet, Cell Phone & Sponsors are very BIG reasons. My first trip was in 1999. BF in beer bars, if I recall correctly, was 200 baht. Go-go's were 500 baht.( I think?) No mobile phones for the gals, Damn those phones! Internet wasn't as widespread as in recent years, and I don't think anywhere near the sponsoship back then. And, yes the attitude of the ladies has definitely gone downhill. At least I have noticed a big change in attitude in so many of them. But, not nearly as many go-go's back then as now. Now, I keep hearing over and over from the owner's, not enough ladies. I guess this is true as sooo many new, additonal clubs. Supply & demand. But, my biggest bitch is the 1000 baht BF for showgals and coyote dancers. No, I don't have to pay it, and I won't, but look where this leads. Need not look further than Boeshe. Tier pricing sucks too. And even now, The Rockhouse and possbily Lennie's are talking about considering tier pricing! I love Pattaya and will continue to go there. I just might have to look a little harder and farther. Yes, I know inflation and all that, and I have no problem with a 600 BF at a go-go, but I do have a problem with what a lot of the ladies are asking for LT.

Dave: No doubt that is a valid concern. There has been a lot of discussion over this point. But, tell me why when it was the norm for 500 baht BF in the go-go's there always seemed to be plenty of ladies available? I look forward to a report from Shane on how it went in the month of January. So, should be hearing from him again in February, no doubt.

I even posted this in the Member's Section on the Secrets board as I think it is good news worth spreading. It seems that a lot of go-go clubs weren't impressed enough to raise bar fine prices awhile back from 500 baht to 600 baht. Now, IMHO, it is getting totally out of control. I give Martin credit for lowering his back to 400 baht from 500 baht, some time back. And, FLB is not a go-go but a Hostess bar. But it sure goes get gogoey on a Party Night! Yahoo!

Mr. Lad: Thank you for your prompt and detailed explanation! I think it's great that you are giving this discount to the board member's and that you will look at it further after the expiration date. You sure do promote, and that is good. And, you do have a lot of lovely ladies workin there! And, what better time for a promotion like this now as I have heard that right now business is slow all over Pattaya. The lull before the storm, no doubt? Yeah, I didn't stop to think about the shortage of ladies. But, makes sense as so many new places have opened and more opening all the time. I have heard this "shortage" statement more than once from other owner's. As for me, I am one of the older farts and 1 AM is usually past my bed time, or at least I should say that I want to be in bed by that time with my soup-de-jour of the day by that time! Mr. Lad: Thanks for the reply, and I have just read your "newest promotion" on the reduction of BF's. (Temporary Only for board members!) Good Move! As a thought, after reading a lengthly thread on increase in prices for everything in general, I was wondering what , how, it might impact your business if you lowered your BF's to 400 baht all the time? Everyone it seems has gone up, but would your business increase if BF's went down in LD1? Would you still do OK financially with an increase in business, that I'm sure it would bring? You have the talent and I'm sure the ladies would go even faster with reduced BF, but it seems to me that even if you had to hire more dancer's your business would increase overall. Am I missing something here? Await you rreply. Rockin'

Mr. Rascal: WOW! They eased restrictions since I stayed there years back. I had to have my Guest out of the room and on her way before 7am. Then, it was an additonal 500 baht to bring lady back to loom. Additionally, while there she could not eat in the restaurant and the pool was off limits as well. This is a Family oriented hotel. They really don't want guest ladies, but like most else in Pattaya, they will overlook for baht and also insist you play by their rules. Plus, location sucks. Rockin'
