Just been surfing through all the airline flight booking websites and although I've gone direct with Eva the past two trips, I'm tempted this time to go with Thai. They are coming in at around fifty pounds cheaper, flight for flight at around £558. These are for travel dates in Jan/Feb 2010. The Thai fare conditions at this price also allow a change of return flight date at £75 if required. This has been significant for me as I have had to return home unexpectedly on my last two visits I've read on a couple of flyer forums that the existing pitiful IFE on Thai airways 747's (centra

Tried doing a couple of searches using all forum categories just lately and put in the search item as say, for example "Pics" or "party". The results are somewhat strange in that the posts come up in the "opened up" mode and on scrolling down there are all sorts of other texts superimposed from other posts on top of these. I carrried out a "screen shot" of the results in order to try to display an example of the problem, but unfortunately the effect does not show when pasted into a new post Anybody else noticed this please, or is it something that has been recogonised and that is in t

Yeah the same for me too. It works for the "Informative Website Forum" but does not work for the FLB Parties or the Residence Garden. Sorry

Midlifecrisis you hit the nail right on the head. He is his own financial predecessor, Chancellor of the Exchequer, The First Lord of the Treasury, the Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP

Dave and Jim were a couple of drinking buddies who worked as Aircraft mechanics in Melbourne. One day the airport was fogged in and they were stuck in the hangar with nothing to do. Dave said, 'Man, I wish we had something to drink!' Jim says, 'Me too. Y'know, I've heard you can drink jet fuel and get a buzz. You wanna try it?' So they pour themselves a couple of glasses of high octane booze and get completely smashed. The next morning Dave wakes up and is surprised at how good he feels. In fact he feels GREAT! NO hangover! NO bad side effects. Nothing! Then the pho

Residence Garden.Always 100% reliable staff, rooms and all aspects of accommodation services. Don't take any notice of the negative comments from some on this board regarding getting to and from this location.

I am aware that this U Tube video is posted on another forum but thought it deserved an airing on here. IMHO an excellent speech by Daniel Hannan re: Gordon Brown's inept handling of the British economy. Others will disagree with me.

Neither mate 'cos to the best of my knowledge neither have in room safes. That is a pre-requisite for me. Why not have a look at the hotel reviews section on these pages and decide.

Absolutely Tom, I was just adding grist to the mill with what I thought was relevant information. The only way around the "problem" would be for the OP to open a U.K bank account when they pay any winnings in automatically What I find to be kind of amusing(or otherwise) is that you get sent an E Mail regarding any winnings which is headed "Exciting news about your Lottery Numbers Mr X".On going into the website it then tells you that the princely sum of £10 has been paid into your bank account ! Dooohhh I've never won any more than a tenner on my web standing order !

Can somebody enlighten me(and perhaps others) regarding the location of Club Oasis please ?

Don, to add to Cheshire Tom's post. This is copy/pasted from the U.K National Lottery Website FAQ's Can I play overseas? Please remember, you need to be a resident of the UK or Isle of Man at all times when you play UK National Lottery games through your interactive account. In countries outside of the UK and Isle of Man, local laws often prevent the sale or purchase of tickets for any overseas lottery. To protect players and the UK National Lottery, the National Lottery Rules and Terms and Conditions prohibit people from playing online in any country where it is unlawful to

Presume that's LHR -BKK ! That's a good fare mate. Who was that through please? They are still showing around £650 for a return fare next Jan/Feb 2010...and yes I know that's a long look ahead, but I'm trying to get rid of some of my Pattaya blues. The thing I like about both the EVA and Thai direct, is that both their overnight flights departing LHR at 2130 approx (arrive BKK 1530hrs) and the reciprocal return at 1310 from LOS are nice civilised timings !

Sorry to see there is a joiner fee of 1000 baht per night. Here's the link . http://www.pattayadiscoverybeach.com/rates.html There should still be time to amend your booking, as that's going to get expensive if you're mongering ! -
Erratic performance of this board
N3RGT replied to N3RGT's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Thanks Matey but... Quote "While I have been experiencing these problems I have regularly quickly logged into other similar sites with no problems whatsoever, so I am confident that my communications are in order". Perhaps it's the information super highway serving my PC in the UK then -
Like many many others I spend quite some time surfing around on this board, and also hopefully making some meaningful contributions when appropriate; however I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the hit and miss, erratic performance, typically when trying to initially open up the website and then having to sit around whilst trying to open posts that I'm interested in. I found it impossible to get on the site at around 8 -9 pm UK time last night and just gave up ! One small post I added earlier took around five minutes to actually "load up" I would try to add more information as to w
