  1. Hhhhmmmmm......paws for thought !
  2. This appears to be the case in the vast majority of the economy class seating. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Eva_Airwa...ing_777-300.php
  3. Although I have seen it before, this deserves some acknowledgement, ...a sardonic, sad and funny reflection, on what is, and what has been happening in the U.K over the past three or four decades The arabic script in the final point,(unfortunately) says it all !
  4. Thanks Ergodyne. Some amusing captions/pictures there. It wouldn't be right to say I was "pandering" to you, but they brought a smile to my face !
  5. Bye Tom...but keep digging if you must
  6. Hilarious, but once again you fail to impress ! Tom it's over, "Finito", don't you get it ? I've successfully made my point which is " your remarks, at best, were totally mean spirited". No getting away from that ! Bye
  7. Whether Odense appreciated the reply or not, your additional remarks in context(post #12) were irrelevant, uncalled for and like you, unwanted. I know you can't help being a mean spirited, snide, S.O.B. Quite clearly I've hit on a raw nerve for you to use such expletives. Time to take a bike ride perhaps and try cooling down a little. Anger management classes may help ! Try keeping to the point in future, and kerb your truculence.
  8. Post # 12 QUOTE (Odense @ Oct 15 2009, 08:06 PM) If she is competitive price wise (quality I guess will be similar since she does use the same sweat shops - but she might help you find any faults if she wants to) I would rather support her than a "indian taylor" Are she really interested in supplying mens clothing ? Would she be selling Thai Silk (just the cloth) with a reasonable mark up ? QUOTE (CheshireTom @ Oct 19 2009, 03:09 AM) Odense, The difference in quality is normally between machine and hand-woven silk. You can easily tell the difference by looking at the edges of the f
  9. Just had a problem sending a jpeg via a PM. Uploaded jpeg ok and hit the + sign in "Manage current attachments" and the attachment is indicated below the text of my message ie However recipient does not see the illustrative jpeg and neither do I in my sent messages folder. I do have "html enabled". I have done this many times before. Any ideas please ?
  10. ...and some fell on stoney ground !
  11. So what is the connection to Pattaya ?

    BJ gone bad

Maybe I shouldn't have laughed, but that's what it made me do. A classic gag "reflex" or what ? The other girls though it was funny too ! P.S Maybe we should have had a "Welcome Back" Gai thread on here ?
  13. I used the enhanced economy with EVA AIR on my last but one trip. Personally didn't think the extra £300 or whatever it was at the time was worth it ! Larger, more comfortable seat, same food, I believe as in economy. However westeast travel are apparently doing some amazing deals with EVA according to this link. If I hadn't already booked, I'd certainly give this a try !(but by 13th September) http://www.westeasttravel.com/user/strPage.asp?idlink=27 Edit: Just gave it a try and put in my existing flight dates(which qualify datewise in their offer) and the premium economy
  14. Nice to see you apparently agree with one of my paragraphs, verbatim, on post #11
  15. There's a thread running on this board at the moment headed "Never post when you're drunk"
  16. Hope you don't have to resort to using it when you discover that your particular condition is not covered as per para 27 Clause 3© in your private policy. On a more serious note I am so grateful to the N.H.S for virtually saving my life, by carrying out what was a relatively simple non invasive angioplasty operation and stent placement in one of my main arteries. This is an increasingly common event in the N.H.S, and is now a "routine" operation where patients are often out the same day.
  17. Wondered when you might have a stir about that C.T(S.N.P). You don't disappoint ...and BTW, its refreshing to see that at last you are, in part, reading a half decent newspaper. I will rise to your "Greenwells Glory" Daniel Hannan is a "maverick", and as such, will always be an outspoken and forthright character. A breath of "fresh air" in comparison to some of the run of the mill political "yes" men. I think he will always have more admirers than detractors. All this, of course, in relation to Obama's ongoing health reform programme in America. Nothing wrong in healt
  18. Thanks MM. Four very nice looking ladies. Nang, in particular, appears to have a great "attitude".
  19. pattayaminime: An excellent set of funnies here. It's bloody difficult to get positive responses to jokes and "amusing" anecdotes on this forum section, but have to admit some of these had me laughing out loud. Great stuff thanks !
  20. The link works but takes me to a site for "Eastwest Travel" that is definitely NOT their normal site. When going to one of the options my Internet Security alerts me to all sorts of nasty things going on, with trojans etc etc. Ah .....Just tried it again, and it's certainly not the westeast travel facility that we have come to know and the one used so much by persons on this board. I think the OP was probably correct. Something wrong somewhere ! Just found the phone number from my last booking. It's 0870 220 1001. Lady there says their regular website is down at the moment and all book

  22. quote 00mlc: "looking at some of the pictures I can't help but thinking it looks very dated - is this the case ? Hello 00mlc; What aspect of the Residence Garden is, in your opinion, "dated" ? There are loads of pictures of this place on the board, and am curious as to what you are getting at. FWIW. Many boardies on here take this place as their "stay" of choice. It's very civilised, hassle free, and for the Pattaya Pages price of 1450 per night, for what is essentially a self contained one bedroom apartment, very good value. P.S The girls love it too !
  23. QUOTE (N3RGT @ Jul 29 2009, 09:39 AM) DON'T FALL IN LOVE ! Don't start me off again please PM ! I'm still hurting
