Had a very quick look at this place on my last trip. If I remember rightly its the establishment, almost opposite RG on the right hand side of the new development "set back" a little. Looks like a nice place to take a lady for a bit of a treat. Definitely not cheap, and I would expect very good quality service, and food. The menu looks first class ! Here's a link to their website http://www.aloispattaya.com/

Sounds good. I would have thought they would have put out some sort of promotional material regarding this, particularly for those on their client mailing list. Anyone got any more info on this ?

There is no need to go across the dual carriageway for laundry. Just turn left and go past Mr Macs, across the small soi on your left and up to the moto taxi stand. Just on the left there is a small glass fronted place which is a laundry. All the times I've used it, there has been a Thai fighting dog there on a chain. This laundry is excellent, 24 hour service, and very reasonable, price wise, plus gives you an itemised bill. Nice people there, who have never let me down.

Such an unfair world. When a man talks dirty to a woman its considered sexual harassment. When a woman talks dirty to a man its £2.50/min (charges may vary). Got stopped in the street outside Boots today by a woman with a clipboard asking "What products do I use for grooming?" She was a bit taken aback when I replied, "Facebook". Just booked a table for Valentine’s Day for me and the wife. Bound to end in tears though - she's crap at snooker.

In light of the current British success in the Tour De France, I thought you may like to see a RARE PHOTO OF 1940 TOUR DE FRANCE Because it's Black & White, it is difficult to spot the yellow jersey ......

Hi Tom, I believe the birds on bikes were supposed to depict the release of White Doves link below http://www.telegraph...breakdowns.html The releasing of doves became a traditional part of the Olympics opening ceremony after the end of the First World War !

Beach life on Wongamat Beach, Pattaya.
N3RGT replied to firth1974's topic in Pictorial Travel Reports
Great pics Firth 1974.This beach looks a whole lot better than the "main" beach in Pattaya, but looks very quiet(and not a jet ski in sight !) Just love the pic of the lady wearing the sarong with the "must have" matching fashion accessory, Macaw, (for 100baht a picture perhaps) ! -
the return train trip on the death railway.
N3RGT replied to firth1974's topic in Pictorial Travel Reports
Thanks for another great set of pics Firth. This journey should feature in the world's most scenic railway journeys. Those wooden bridge structures over the river don't look that secure, but I'm sure that's not the case -

Excellent value for 1,000 Baht per night, especially with breakfast included, not to mention the towelling swans and flowers on the bed -
My beloved Leicester City are returning to Thailand as part of their tour of South East Asia and are scheduled to play against Pattaya United at the Dolphins' Nongbru Stadium in Pattaya on Tuesday 22nd May. http://www.lcfc.com/...2774141,00.html Could be an entertaining game, but I have no idea what sort of standard Pattaya United are, although I do understand (I think) they are in the top tier of the leagues in Thailand. I wonder how long it may be before Leicester's Thai owners recruit one of their own Thai nationals to the club ?
