Where do you reach to get such ridiculous stuff? FIFA CAN NOT be corrupt by itself. It's impossible. It is impossible to discuss FIFA corruption in a vacuum. Someone, some thing, some group, some government (or many of the above) are corrupt ALSO - otherwise FIFA can't be corrupt. Again: This is just like some BM who hands over 200 baht to the policeman and then whines about the corrupt police. Why you think this thread has anything to do with me, only you know. I am a (cynical, often concerned) spectator. I have absolutely no dog in the fight, never have enabled or profited from FIFA or anyone else I've named. I have nothing to do with FIFA, and wouldn't touch the Football Association of Thailand with a barge pole for fear I'd never get the xhit off my hands. So far as the corruption-enabling FA, I haven't come within 200 yards of one of its members, let alone the actual group. (Full disclosure: I was once inside a hotel where Liverpool were staying, but not in connection with Liverpool or the FA people with them.) Unlike you, I am remarking on the subject of this thread, "Septic Bladder". He's a disgrace to humanity and his operation should be torn apart and rebuilt properly -- but he doesn't do it by himself by any means. He has enablers and toadies, both. .

Is that Carling British? Carling is a (really good) fairly popular Canadian beer and an absolutely foul American one. I always thought it was a Canadian company. .

Yeah, very classy. Yeah, sure. My error. Vancouver fans are very, very classy. How could I ever think otherwise. Anywhere else, they would have booed a LOT more and had MUCH bigger riots, probably with deaths. In Vancouver, they do it very, very classy. There were some cheers for Thomas. I admit it. I did actually hear them -- among all the classiness of course. .

Tell me that's a really good audition by a fine actress for a top-rate Hollywood comedy. Otherwise, shoot her. Jesus wept! Of what use is she to the already overpopulated human race? .

Okay, I was wrong, you're going to hold his coat. So tell me, why is it "anti-English" to note that the England FA works with Fifa on corrupt deals and profits to the tune of millions of pounds by helping Fifa push its corrupt deals? What does this have to do with being anti-English, my following what YOU (rightly) claim is YOUR decision to bring English corruption into the thread? Why is my contribution anti-English and your's in not, for example? How about this? I'll tell you what I think and you get out of my brain? Deal? You are a HORRIBLE mind reader. Stop setting me up for YOUR ridiculous conclusions about what you claim that I think. I don't think it. I don't even care about it. Your nationality is less than a piffle to me. I don't even care WHY you want to hold the little one's coat, only what you write about it. Which so far in this part of the thread is nothing. I didn't mention your nationality. I didn't mention the little one at all in any manner, let alone his nationality. I mentioned the Fifa corruption and two (so far) of the national bodies that enable, encourage and profit from corruption. YOU take it personally, that is YOUR problem, I have nothing to do with that (frankly, stupid) problem. You have the right to be offended, I don't care. What did you do with your false claim that I care about your nationality? Answer: You carried out another lie, more false xrap claiming to know what *I* think. Here's a scoop: I don't care what's your nationality. The subject isn't you. It's corruption in international and national football/soccer. That exists no matter what your nationality is, mine is or anyone else's. Don't assign me your convenient pigeon-hole, if for no other reasons than - number one you are flatly, horribly wrong and number two, lest this become a flame exchange. SO FAR, I've said word zero about you. How about this? I'll write down here what I think. You tell everyone what you think. I'll agree or disagree with your opinion, without reference to your mother's moustache. How about that? So here's my main question to you: Why do you, just like the guy whose coat you're holding, REFUSE to address the subject, which is the corruption of Fifa and how at least two other countries mentioned (so far, England and Thailand) go along with that corruption and profit from it? And as a follow-on, do you agree with, deny or have some other opinion about the claim that Fifa AND national bodies are corrupt by necessity, since one person/group can't be corrupt all alone? .

But he didn't stamp both your visas, did he? As said: You can only have one VALID visa at a time. Yes. For a fact, this is zero problem with UK passports because usually, the authorities themselves will join the two passports - old and new. If they don't, Scotch tape is handy so they don't get separated in your bag. But the answer, joined or not, convenient or not, is "yes". ONE alternative perhaps not so convenient as in the pre-9/11 days is to get a new passport IN Thailand. Take that along to immigration, they will transfer the visa for you. But it would STILL be a good idea to keep the old passport handy for a few months or a year, why not? .

Not to mention they booed the presentation of both trophies. Real class, Vancouver. About the only thing the whining, diving, excuse-laden Canucks didn't do is bite like little girls during fights. Oh, wait a minute.... Luongo is a choker, everyone knew that going in. But in Game 7, you can't blame him - you can't win if you don't score ANY goals, eh? Good going, Boston, good going Howard. You deserved it. .
-
C'mon little one, why do you want a predictable season? Unpredictable is exactly what makes it sport. But you can't buy a championship, really. You can't buy ALL the good players - plus, you CAN (and many teams do, eh?) buy players that don't get along, hog the ball, refuse to play as a team, have a manager than can't manage the players.... etc, etc. A good, efficient, brainy front office can make a better TEAM than some rich guy trying to assemble an all-star team. There's still way too few brains in soccer offices, in my opinion - still lots of room for building a team that can hand a richer team its arxe -- at least on any given day, if not through the whole season. .
-
THAT is a true statement, little one. Why not give it up? There's no one even holds your coat. .

I can't resist staying on topic, you mean? The lily-white FA was the subject. But it's not. There are way worse than the English when it comes to Fifa corruption. There is FAT for example, the Football Association of Thailand for starters. Worawi Makudi, now the FAT president (or something) was once beaten up by North Koreans back when he was an international referee, for taking their bribe but then failing to fix the match for them! At the Asian Games! He is in bed with Blather, named by the FA of England as a crook -- and slithered out of it. But you know what? "Not guilty" is NOT the same as innocent, Mr Worawi. And you aren't innocent. Open your eyes, little one, and open your mind. ANYONE who does business with Fifa, from Coca Cola to the underprivileged boys' clubs who take their soccer ball giveaways, is helping Fifa and suborning corruption. That most certainly includes the FA of England. Or tell me why not. Address the Kottam topic and NOT the poster for once. .

He can't have two active visas in his passport. If he gets a new visa now, then he's effectively cancelling the "spouse visa". Then he has a 90-day visa. Why not wait until March, go to Penang (say) and get a 90-day or even 60-day tourist? I can't see there's a problem of survival from next March (April or even May, really, you get appeal time) through October of 2012. It's hugely possible I'm missing something, though. (Is this English "O" visa good for a one-year stay? Never heard of a visa that's worth more than 90 days.) And it's not a huge deal, I'm more intellectually curious and not as sharp on visa-ins-and-outs as lots of BM including you. .
-
Quite right of course, but it takes two to make a corrupt deal. Blatter and the FA of England, for example, that is one corrupt couple, doing their deals and stealing (heh) off with their profits. The FA somehow looked noble by opposing Blatter's re-election? Pshaw! Sorry, but the FA complaining about corruption is like a highway construction company in Thailand complaining about government corruption, or that Scottish guy in Phuket complaining about corruption, or some BM complaining he "had to pay off the police or the corrupt baxtards would have arrested me". Sorry. Cry me an overflowing river! You get in bed with these people, don't complain when they bite you during the blow job! .

Doesn't matter in this case, but this is not a fact. A retirement visa can be had with monthly income rather than a bank deposit. In some cases, it can be had by merely stating you have the monthly income, no actual proof required. I'm not clear, though, why he wants/needs the "O" visa, or what advantage there is to getting one to fill in from March/April to October. .
-
I don't know about the future, Simon. What I am saying is that you have a current visa to remain in Thailand until March, and you would be foolish to let it lapse for the sake of not getting a re-entry visa for 1,900 baht without any hassle or bank account check. What I am saying is that your friend is wrong about the re-entry visa/permit If you want to renew the visa next March, you'll need to show some gelt in the bank, yes. If you don't have it, your visa will run out and you'll have to find other ways to stick around for 7 months. But there are various ways of having money in the bank. There are brokers who will lend you that money for a few weeks, for example, so that you can get the required bank letter. Just one suggestion. You can switch to a retirement visa, perhaps. No reason to be fucked, for sure. .

A couple of exterior scenes were done on Soi Cowboy for sure. So far as interiors, you can do them anywhere, they don't have to be in the actual bar. But they may well have been done in the bar, why not, eh? .

He needed you nine and a half years ago, when he made the request. EDIT Sorry Pappy, blew past your post to put this one. .

I can't believe that the whiners, divers and all-around Schamucks have scored three goals and won three games. Good grief, that's a champion? I thought Boston would sweep or nearly sweep. And here they sit, up 17 goals to 6, and having to face the world's luckiest goalie to win Game 7. It's a crapshoot now. On paper, Boston wins Game 7 in a romp. Luckily for Thelma and Louise, the game is going to be on ice, and they could even win. .
-
Get a new friend, because he gives horrible advice. Get a re-entry permit for 1,900 baht. By next March, who knows what you'll want to do, and in the meantime, you're fine. .

Are you sure they are policemen? I'm not sure about Pattaya, but since it is a city it should have a force, usually in uniforms, working for the "tet - saban" or municipal government, and regulating things like pavement sales. .

windows 7 home premium
joekicker replied to stonethrower's topic in Technical problems or questions.
You might well do better to start all over with Windows and put in the Thai edition, then. Assuming they will upgrade you, which they should from your English edition, the max price is $120 from Microsoft Thailand. You can get lower than that at various shops of course. . -

What do you want to do, just type and read Thai? You can do that through the Control Panel, under Regional Languages "change keyboards". There is also a specific "Thai edition" of Windows 7 sold in Thailand. . -
thai airways international/domestic transfer BKK
joekicker replied to s77656769's topic in Airline Discussion
95 minutes without baggage should be lots of time. You might spot a Thai International you could tell, as you move to immigration and then on to the domestic gates. . -
It's not a question of hassle, and most people over 40 can handle computers better than most people under 30. Us wrinkled people dealt with CP/M and DOS for years and know how to follow installation instructions. Not only can we do it, we actually know WHAT we are doing. I daresay I could get a program patched and running before almost anyone under 30 who isn't a semi-professional pirate. But it's not hassle, it's CONVENIENCE. I can set the spark, adjust the choke and crank a car, too, but it's nice to climb in and turn the key to do it. Why raise chickens when you can drop by the store and pick up a box of eggs? .
-
It's a big fire. I have no idea from here what the bang was, maybe gas bottles?? .
-
On self-contained programs, sure. But there are times that buying it is easier - big packages, especially. You don't have to fiddle with the patches and serials and all, the pirate shop does it all for you and packages it up. .
