  1. I stayed a couple nights there about this time last year. It was a reasonably decent place. I had a top floor room, mid-building, facing the pool. It is a good location and a couple doors down is the Loaf Bakery & Cafe for a good breakfast and nice espresso. Here are a couple pics of the room.
  2. I found that the seat cushions were very thin and uncomfortable after a few hours. Also, the recline takes up your leg room and if you are over 6 feet, as I am, it put my knees into the seat in front of me and made it difficult to get my feet under that seat. The bonus was that the person reclining in front of you did not invade your space. I also thought the toilets were small. I understand that the 777 is cheaper to operate, but I'm still partial to the A330.
  3. It helps to actually read the thread before asking for info already provided. Here is the link again: http://www.kos.aero/en/flight-info/flight-search#anchor
  4. I think you may be slightly confused about the fez. FezPage issues This article is about the headwear. For the video game, see Fez (video game). For the city, see Fez, Morocco. For other uses, see Fez (disambiguation). A fez The fez,[1] as well as its equivalent, the tarboosh(Arabic: طربوش‎‎, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [tˤɑɾˈbuːʃ], ALA-LC: ṭarbūsh), is a felt headdress of two types: either in the shape of a close-fitting skull cap, or a short cylindrical peakless hat made of kilim fabric, both usually red, and sometimes with a tassel attached to the top. The tarboosh and the moder

  6. I stand corrected. When I looked into South Africa a few years ago, I could not find a direct flight from anywhere in the USA.
  7. Your flight path really depends on what airline you choose and where their hubs and direct flight go. I once took a direct flight on American Airlines Chicago to Beijing. We flew over the North Pole. I took a picture of my in seat flight tracker with a heading of zero degrees. Pretty cool. I'll post it if I can find it again. The Northern lights from 32,000 feet are pretty awesome too! More recently I flew via Delta direct, Seattle to Hong Kong, which took us up over Alaska, the Bearing Sea, Sea of Okhotsk, just West of Beijing and into HKG. If you are traveling from Boston to So
  8. Maybe the Concord discussion should be culled from this thread as it is topic drift into the past of long haul, not the future. Might I suggest a topic header of: Failed aircraft and opinions why

  11. They are the largest carrier in the US of A.
  12. Go to Tukcom. There you can find all manner of digital watches & Fitbits, both real and knock offs. When I was there last December I bought a Samsung knock off watch for 700 baht. It worked, but the battery only lasted about 7 hours. It also had a 1 mega pixel camera, capable to bluetooth to your phone and had a sim card slot. It was a cool little inexpensive toy that might fit your need.
