  1. I stayed in the same building in May ( regent suites). Nice , decent sized, modern rooms. Rooms cleaned every day. A little expensive and a little out of the way but not excessively so. No problem bringing girls back .
  2. only just come across this post so im sorry for not answering earlier... the holiday inn on beach road soi 1 doesnt opperate a joiner fee. i stayed there earlier this year and as with most big hotels they require the girls id but dont charge a fee .
  3. hi Steve , thought i might add my own experiance with you ( only just come across your post today ) i stayed at Maxx Central for 3 weeks in april and for the money you pay you wont find a better room anywhere in Pattaya. The staff are all friendly and do a good job . took 3 cleaners half hour to clean my room every day... they really do clean everything. The shop next door sell everything you will need at thai prices... a lot cheaper than 7/11s you find closer to the beach ( bottle of coke 10b ) It is a fair walk to soi 7/8 but i usually use a m/bike taxi at night just for the convenienc
  4. both Queen Vic and Lord Nelson have rooms for rent on soi 6. think they both have web sites too
  5. i booked 6 months ago with Etihad, flying xmas eve ( 24th ) returning 17th jan. . . £ 525 manchester to bkk with good connections
  6. Le Katai have safety boxes in the room winston, the 4 didgit coded ones.
  7. having travelled with Emirates many times , i always book the seats at the back of the plane ( where they become 2 seats). you will find that the extra room you have for the flight ( which is approx 13 hours in total - manchester-dubai-bangkok ) is well worth any negative points. very rarely are they qs for the toilet, always a steward(ess) going to the galley so can easily get another drink.only drawback is when getting to bangkok you will be last off the plane so have to q at passport control.
  8. hi feileacan. Le katai has nothing to do with boy gogo. It is run by a nice chap called Andy and the food and internet (which also has 3 xboxes for you to use) is run by ian. the grub is always good, infact whilst i was there i saw a few blokes that where stopping at Opey come across for breakfast/lunch.
  9. ive just had 3 weeks in Le Katai which is opposite Opey. The room i was in is on a parr with the rooms at Opey but are now priced at 350 b a night. Breakfast was pretty good as was the rest of the food.Totally agree, great area to stay in, and in the Oasis A Go Go are some very "cute" girls.
  10. try ; www.lekataipattaya.com located on soi Lengkee off soi Baowkao. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, no joiner fee no matter how many "ladies"you bring back. web site says 650 b a night including continental breakfast. small english is 100 b so well within your price range. ive stayed a few times and rooms i stayed in had air con and bath tub
  11. Im on Etihad flight EY402 from Abu Dhabi landing in Bangkok at 07.25 on 20th April. Anyone wanting to share going to Pattaya?
  12. try www.dropinnbangkok.com located just off sukhumvit soi 20. stopped a couple of times , clean, guest friendly and not a bad breakfast
  13. ive been in the rooms above club blu, corner of lk and soi boakao. nice big rooms, microwave, kettle, in room safe, tv and all fairly new.think my mate was paying 800b a night over the xmas period." good value" imho. i usually stay round the corner on soi lengkee (strait across soi boakao from soi diana)in le katai.room 15 and 19 are double rooms, that is to say i have a living room with 2 double settees, tv and balcony and a on-suite bedroom also with tv, fridge (with mini bar).priced at 720b a night over the xmas period.
