Might sound stupid, but I always have a "map" of where the hotel is located, usually it comes with the indications in Thaï....never had a problem getting to PTY. Only time I had a "slight " problem was September 2005, going to BKK airport......driver seemed to have a problem finding his way....in his defence : we were in a "rainstorm from hell" during at least 30 minutes : if he lost track, so did I !!! So, no big fuzz.....eventually we arrived at an oil reffinary........the security guys were quit puzzled how we got there....but we got the right directions ! Can't blame the driver, ca

Never had any of the above CC questions with Dynasty Inn..... I do give them the following details : flight number, arrival time. My next flight in september will arrive at 04.30h AM......a bit early....but I think that would be no problem. As to the CC fraud, Dynasty doesn't have a good reputation, I posted on the forum that my card was copied & used in Japan.......for 988.00 Euro's this month.....They suspect the Dynasty as it was the only place I used my VISA....last April. Anyway, I like the hotel and e-mailed my itinirary, got confirmation back the next day.....nothing

I've started to use the Dynasty Inn, soi 4, price is 1090 Bht & free transfer to their hotel(s) in Pattaya if you pre-book two nights there. The hotel is well kept, a bit old & the rooms a bit small. but then again, I only use for sleeping purposes........! Greetz, Jay

Was at the Dynasty Inn last April with Songkran : Very nice staff, rooms were excellent & always clean. On the other hand, the "swimming pool" is a "hot tub".......and the noise of the construction works can be extremely annoying ! All in all, when the work finishes, I'd go back. For my next visit in september, i'm going to try the Dynasty resort ! Take care, Jay PS : price paid was 1200 Bht per night / no joiner fee.

Every now & then, i get back with my feet on the ground......this is one of those moments....! I lived a good live, though, filled with moments where I was the one ....I thought....to get "down"....! I got through.....and it amazes me even more, that young people, just going to, or coming back from work...get killed......Not taking any risk, just doing a "simple routine thing"........... .......it still amazes me.....it makes me humble......! Don't know about the glasses, but the frames are sure worth their money, and usually much cheaper than here in Europe.......! As to the glasses, if you have the right prescription, I do not think the quality is different, but do they have both types : glass or plastic ????? 26 days and counting....... Cheers, Jay

I've stayed at the Flipper Lodge soi 8 from September 3rd till September 10th. Roomrate : seaview : 770 baht Room : outdated, could use new paint, and moisture around the Airco Staff : extremely friendly and helpfull, especially the security staff, always called me when TG left the hotel to check if i was OK. Pool : nice pool, clean & good service, liked it a lot. Internet : in the lobby....without airco (working on it.....), 1,5 Baht a minute ...in this heat...(better deal in the internetroom next to the Sunbeam hotel, same Soi : only 1 baht a minute, fast pc's...and airco !!)
