  1. Nam is 38? There must be some mistake. She'll always be 29 in my book. Sow na mon, khun na deum.
  2. I love the cowgirl theme. I might just put aside my distaste for gogos and stop in and say "howdy" to the lil' buckaroos.
  3. When did you get put in charge? How about we let the moderators decided what content is allowed on the board?
  4. A friend of mine (36 years old) who is from the US has a student visa. I think it's good for a year. He's taking classes at a Thai language school in BKK. That might be an option, plus you'd learn some Thai.
  5. What is this, a geography and currency test? I was told there'd be no pop quizzes on this forum.
  6. Why so bitchy, jacko? Just making a comparison. My point remains - a single woman can easily live on 40,000 baht per month. A Thai English teacher I know makes 7,000 baht per month. I hope that's relevent enough for you? First of all, she doesn't have to live in BKK. It may be news to some of you, but there is more to Thailand than BKK and Pattaya. I lived in a one-room apartment in Udon Thani and paid 4-5,000 baht per month, and that price included electricity, cable TV, and internet access, and I was perfectly happy with it. Not everyone has to live in a 30,000 baht
  7. 40,000 baht is over $1,000 US. She should easily be able to live a comfortable life in Thailand on that.
  8. My acting days are over, but I was quite the thespian in high school. We did the Odd Couple during my senior year. I wanted to play the Felix Unger role (Jack Lemmon in the movie, Tony Randle on the TV show), but my best friend won the role. I got the supporting role of Vinnie, the nerdy poker player. It was great fun to play, and no it wasn't a case of type casting. Best of luck with your production LF.
  9. I finally got to visit PBG and really enjoyed it. Fellow BM bvthunder and myself picked it for our Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed the meatloaf. Pete was there to say hello and talk with us for a few minutes. I was suprised at the many falang couples who came in for dinner. I love the atmosphere and decor, and of course it has what might possibly be the best view in town. I'll have to bring Tilac in for a romantic dinner next time we're in town. Great job Pete. You can chalk up one more happy customer.
  10. Forget about how good Adam looks, who's the hottie in the black dress? My apologies if she's the wife or GF of a BM, but she is stunning. Lin is looking especially sexy in this pic. I remember a thread recently in which some guys were saying she was not a "looker". Great pics Adam. I should be seeing you again soon.
  11. One of the greatest inventions to ever reach the Far East - the push-up bra. Congrats on Cherry Bar's 3rd anniversary, Adam. Here's hoping you have many, many more. Have a great time.
  12. The old place looks . . . well . . . it looks new, yet oddly similar. Just kidding, it looks great. I hope you're happy with the renovation. Nice to see you broke down and bought a modern TV. Looks like a fun party. Thanks for all the pics. Congrats on the re-opening. P.S. I think Brett Favre is gonna have a huge year. If I were you I'd draft him in the first round.
  13. Congrats on getting the old place up and running again. You truly are a beer bar tycoon. Give my best to Lai. Tell her she may be a year older but her boobs are still just babies. I'll throw back a few here in the States for the Cherry Bar's grand re-opening.
  14. Great pics Adam. Nice to see so many familiar faces. You have a loyal group of girls. Thanks for making me feel I was back there again. Give my best to Nam and the girls
  15. Wish I could've been there. Lots of familiar faces. Looks like you have plenty of girls and customers who will travel with you, regardless of where you move. Happy B-Day to Nam. Best of luck to you at the new location.
  16. Looks great Pete. I see a couple of familiar faces amongst the staff. With those specials and promotions you should have customers and girls stampeding to get into the place. How can Thai women pass up free Som Tum? Best of luck with your opening.
  17. Same for me. I used to drink 2 big bottles pretty much every night. It's pretty good beer but if I drank 3 bottles I'd have a headache the next morning. Now I'm back in the US and it's difficult to get used to drinking from the smaller bottles. They seem to go down alot faster and with less kick. The problem with drinking Archa is my GF's brothers and the other Thai guys in our village would call me a Cheap Charlie. They all drank Leo or Singha.
  18. I've always thought Pun2 was a great girl and very sexy. Unfortunately Cherry Bar is a "no play zone" for me , but I've always enjoyed mentally undressing her while she talks to my GF. During our last stop at Cherry Bar (early March) I noticed that Pun had grown in the chestorial area (she got boob implants). I always thought she looked fine before, but her new boobs are certainly eye-catching. Can't tell if she had the new equipment in the above pics - maybe one of the guys at the party can tell us?
  19. You know it's a good party when it starts at Midnight and doesn't end until 7:30 AM. Having Fun 'Til the Sun Comes.
  20. Nice house. You got alot for your money.
  21. For your first visit I'd reccommend staying in the middle of the action, and that means Sois 7 & 8. Try the Flipper House or Flipper Lodge. The rooms aren't fancy but they're more than adequate. Others in that area that get good reviews include the Sun Beam, the Sunshine, the Bella Vista, the Eastiny, and the Globetrotter. Sois 7 & 8 tend to be a little noisy, but only if you want to sleep before 1AM. If you're having a typical Pattaya holiday you won't be sleeping that early. Make sure and book in advance because most of these places will be full in January. Soi 8
  22. Thanks Sa-teef, that's the one. Walked by it a dozen times. I think "4-5 star" and "guest friendly" are mutually exclusive terms in Pattaya. As someone else mentioned, there are plenty of very nice Western style hotels in Pattaya that are guest friendly, but you may have to forego a star or two. Maybe the best suggestion so far. I love that area of town, but BMs who want to spend alot of time on Walking Street might disagree with it being centrally located.
  23. Maybe the Hard Rock, which is a short walk from Soi 6 and right on Beach Rd. Never stayed there myself so not sure about their guest policy, but I remember reading a TR by a BM who brought a girl from Bangkok and stayed there. There's also a big hotel that looks like a huge cruise ship in the Soi 5/Soi 4 area (the name might be "The Ship"). Again never stayed there but it certainly looked like a high end place.
  24. Congrats Adam! Sorry I can't be there with you. I'm raising a big bottle of Archa in your honor as I type. All the best and continued success.
  25. . . . and this is why the Cherry bar is successful - always something fun and different. You see all those other empty bars? THEY didn't think of having a Pirate Party. "Som nom na" to them. I hope the Captain got to take a "mate" back to his room and "Jolly Roger" them. Thanks for the pics Adam and congrats for yet another successful party.
