  1. L/D100, I like your post but I had to laugh at this typo because it is so accurate for most of the U.S. "Your wife thinks we should leave the country because we don't like those extremes. You seem to be backing her up. I would never tell her to leave the country because she doesn't like the way Americans celibate the 4th of July, or thanksgiving. She isn't required to join in on those celebrations. However, I have no choice during Songkoran." The U.S. ladies "celibate" a lot. However, In Canada and Mexico etc. the Americans don't usually celebrate thanksgiving or 4th of July. Just the U.S
  2. But what part of "America" ? Canada,Mexico, U.S.? Jack
  3. No disgrace in liking a guy rubbing your shoulders while you pee either. But I think most of the ones that do post under "alternative lifestyles." You are the only one here that ever seemed to enjoy it. Jack
  4. I don't think they are letting the farangs decide when the holiday starts and what it is supposed to be. Jack
  5. Thanks for the pictures packhike. I agree with your wife. Some farangs are incapable of having fun and resent seeing anyone else having fun. All the people in the pictures and all the ones I see every year are having a great time. I do sometimes see a red faced wet farang screaming at everyone. The drunken farang assholes seem to be the excessive ones. Jack
  6. misogny. If you are against it so vehemently I wanted you to have the correct spelling. Jack
  7. That's why obesity is and has been a problem in many countries around the world for years. Much research and psychological testing has been done by highly intelligent and qualified doctors without much success. Please call them and explain to "just lose the weight". I am sure they will appreciate your insight. Jack
  8. I don't mind being wrong either and I don't plan on going to a Thai lawyer to prove you wrong. Maybe if you posted the thai law people would believe you. But it still isn't true just because you say it is. Jack
  9. Just because you said it doesn't make it so. I don't want to keep up using you for a reference point. Jack
  10. Despite the doomsayers many people own condos and houses in Thailand and have had them for many years in a company name. The standards are fine in most cases but certainly risky in others. Most don't have drywall so "looking behind the drywall" will be difficult. If you can't look at a house and know if it is built well you might not want to buy. Jack
  11. Would you let non-guests take a crap in your house? Why shouldn't businesses be able to determine who uses their toilet? I can understand public areas but a bar does not have to provide toilet access to non-customers. Jack
  12. I think predecessor was the wrong word. Maybe co-worker would have been better since she did not precede Dr. Aree. English is a tough language for some people. Jack
  13. Thank God you are back to tell us the correct prices. We could barely figure it out with you gone. Thanks also for explaining supply and demand. You are just a wealth of knowledge. Bet your home country misses you. Jack
  14. Don't confuse the U.S. bashers with facts. They detest that. Jack
  15. Farangs that live in or visit Thailand and bitch about it being different and wish it was "like home". Jack
  16. Everyone knows the english are famous for fine food and the knowledge thereof. An english breakfast is proof. Jack
  17. When I get old and grumpy I will probably do the same. But I will not go to A.C. Although it could use a good Songkran wash down. Jack
  18. They made a special one for lemonface with separate systems. Jack
  19. Used Mr. T twice again this week and both times perfect service. Of course I knew where I was going. I usually do when traveling. Jack
  20. If you don't know where you are going and don't speak the language you should at least have the address in the local language. I guess Mr. T should send his drivers to various language schools and provide them with gps for the 900 baht he charges so they can get to their 700 baht guest house. Jack p.s. The charge is 900 baht from the airport to Pattaya. Pattaya is the destination.
  21. Sunsets aren't too bad either. Jack
  22. You are always ready to sacrifice for us MM. A trail blazer. Jack
  23. I would think catering to both Thais and Farangs could create problems. I have never seen a place try it so I am not sure but I guess we will know soon enough. Jack
