T1 and T3 will still be in operation and existence long after we have left this earth. Flew out of T3 this morning on Emirates. As we taxied past the new T2 at 08.40, there was not one single plane at any gate at this new terminal. Guess it must be early days so far...........

Cracking photos Butch, good job. What's the chance that there is some kind of organised trip to the top of the volcano, or is it still "too active" to climb? -

The National (British) Army Museum is located right next door to Chelsea Hospital, which as we all know is now the final home of the imfamous Chelsea Pensioner's. located on the edge of the Borough of Chelsea, close to the river and about a 20 min walk from Victoria train station. There are plenty of buses running to this area, and entrance to this museum is FREE!. Its worth a couple of hours for a visit, quite informative on the British Army but quite small for a museum as well. These are not the best photos, as they were taken on my iPhone, as the visit was unexpected i didnt have my camera with me. Photos taken a couple of days ago...........

Which photo? I think you could be on about the Hawker Tempest aircraft?!?
-
If your on about one of the last photos with the aircraft in desert camo, that is a Curtis Kittyhawk.(close but no cigar).

With my hand currently stitched and bandaged up tight, ive been at a loose end without anything to do lately, so took the old man for a visit to RAF Museum Hendon for the day. Very close to the city. Just hop on the Northern Line and get off at Colindale tube station and its about a 10 min walk down the road. Entrance is free, there is a coffee shop in the central area and a seperate restaurant on the grounds as well. Its a great day for old and young alike, and if your in London, then a visit here should be a must

Ive just realised, that even though it was a year ago that i went to Krabi, i never actually posted any photos of the town area at all, even though i did promise a few members on some boards that i would do, so here, without further a do, i present photos of Ao Nang, Krabi. These photos were taken last year, June 2013. Part 1...... Part 2.........

Changing of the guard, taken today (5th) at Horse Guards Parade in London. Its one of those tourist things that you have to see at least once in your life, if your here in London on holiday that is.
