Just caught the Best Picture bit ... Steve McQueen ain't half changed since The Great Escape!

I'm looking forward to it - I've heard good reports. Kidman's other movie, Grace of Monaco, opens in LOS in the first week in June (I think).

I don't think it's really fair to compare Sizzler to the best steak restaurants in Thailand, just as you wouldn't (I hope) compare Pizza Company to the best Italian restaurants in Thailand. But since we are making recommedndations, The Rib Room and Bar at The Landmark works for me (I've never been inclined to try Neil's for some unknown reason).

They're probably just ensuring that they can call someone who is familiar with the case. I would have asked for a contact name and number as well. Or not authorised to amend the record created by another Division.

I use AdBlock for Mac/Chrome from Softonic. It's free and easy to turn on/off/pause. Only downside is that it sometimes blocks embedded photos in forums. Not a big problem - just pause adblock and reload the page.

I really like Sizzler, particularly if I'm with a group of Thais - there's always something for everyone. It offers a good balance of price and quality, IMHO. The branches in Thailand are run by William Heinecke's Minor Food Group - the same people who own Pizza Company and operate Swensen's. I can't speak for Pattaya, but I'm always impressed with how well the staff appear to be trained at my local restaurants - any issues are always dealt with quickly and without any fuss.

I pay 8.7k Baht for 6 months ... on the basis of a genuine set-top box and AstroCard. Astro has various packages available and you can tailor them to suit yourself (to a certain extent) - mine basically comprises Sports, Movies, Knowledge, Family and News - all incl HD. As far as the World Cup goes ... there will be 10 channels (5 x SD and 5 x HD) and all 64 games will be broadcast live (with English commentary). Bundesliga - normally around 3 live games and another couple "delayed". For this coming weekend (times are Malay clock) ... Supersport 3 Sat 1 Mar 03:25-05:30 (L)

Unfortunately, I'm not a fanatical Bayern supporter - I was always supporting the opposition ... Liverpool, Everton, Hearts, Arminia, Düsseldorf. Got to admire them as a club though ... I remember the first time I saw them against Arminia and Sepp Maier was doing his warm-up routine in front of Block Vier at the Bielefelder Alm - an incredible athlete and it showed how far advanced Bayern's Sports Science was at the time.
