  1. Thai have 34" seat spread. Ive always judged SIA to be overrated and was told the reason why Malaysion waitresses grovelled so much was that if there were any complaints at all they would be instantly sacked. I simply cant understan how on earth malaysian got to be airline of the year. Maybe its simply because so few people used them, the planes were empty and the punters got swamped with grovelling ::) I would still choose Thai over any other Airline. Though Gulf Air service used to be amazing, they just couldnt stop handing out booze.
  2. I will apply for Pussy Sanitation Inspector and Early Onset Breast examiner !
  3. There are 2 flights ex-Manchester. EK 018 1400Hrs-0010Hrs+1 EK 020 2035Hrs-0645Hrs+1 Your onward Connection EK 372 Dubai-BKK is on Thai
  4. SSSHHHHHHH Valentino, he might be trying to take the place over !!!!!! ???
  5. But the fares ex-BKK are in general higher than those ex-UK Also worth remembering that with an open ticket outbound he would need a Thai Visa
  6. Emirates ? Got to be one of the best in the world. Even their economy class is good. Seating is as stated previously 2-3-2 on both aircraft though I strongly suspect that you will get 2 seats to yourself at least on the BKK sector also 18 TV channels !!!!!!
  7. Every Economy is 'No Frills' Thats why its called Economy. The reason its a good fare is because its nonstop/non change. The only other similar priced fare means a physical change of aircraft or Flying Aeroflot or Bulgarian or something (which is NOT recomended) And as a matter of interest as someone who has travelled on most Airlines from UK to Bangkok, Thai Airways Inflight service and food is very good. Far superior than many other airlines. It also beats the arse off of BA
  8. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Douglas Adams
  9. The word for someone from France is 'Falangset' Hence she shortening to Falang or Farang
  10. I emailed them and they said the deal was finished. Still its Pattaya and anything can happen.
  11. Yake some decent food with ya though.
  12. Hiya The cheap Thai price is for departure on TG917 on specific days only. I ended up actually phoning Ebookers and getting them to manualy search for an imbound and outbound flight for the cheap price, as I have no problems with dates. The reason for the cheap price is mainly that and the flight timings, which arent really brilliant for many people. If you are stuck on specific weekends because of work then its a bitch really. November used to be Low season then it became Mid season now its back to low.£479 still isnt a bad price. I was selling Thai 12 years ago at £425 Before Airport Tax and your fare is pretty much as good as that. If you are stuck on those dates and want a straight through flight then take that fare as I VERY much doubt Thai are going to reduce the weekend fares. If you dont mind changing planes ( I dont, it gives you a chance to stretch your legs) then Royal Jordanian or Finnar can be had for around the £400 mark inc taxes I cant sell any tickets untill I get my ATOL :-[ :-[ Take the tickets and start dreaming ::) Have a good time though. ;D ;D
  13. Ues, but does it have Mars Bars in the fridge eh ? [smiley=poke.gif] [smiley=poke.gif] [smiley=poke.gif] [smiley=poke.gif] [smiley=poke.gif]
  14. HMMM It really depends upon which Aircraft is being used, time of day of flight and personal preferences. I personally prefer sitting behind the wings. Noisier but you gte a longer look down at anything that takes your fancy. I also try to get a window seat next to an Exit or next to a Door as it has longer headroom Check this site out http://www.seatguru.com/
  15. Just a point worth thinking about. To make more money BA put in an extra row of seats where the over wing escape hatches are. 31" seat spread in economy ?????? You are joking right ? Its 28 mate. I wouldnt travel BA at a 50% Discount. In the 80's Qantas decided to dip their feet in the cheap seat Market and were offering LHR-BKK at £425 BA complained to IATAA and anyone else they could and got the fare blocked. Thats the sort of people BA are.

  22. Just booked and paid for mine £412 Thai non stop. They have always done deals every year. Its a great price as I was offering Thai 12 years ago on one of their special deals. £425 !!!!!! Its just a Pain that I still cant even get seats for myself at a decent rate untill I get my ATOL. Still at £412 selling price i suspect their buy-in price would be about £380 inc taxes. I would be selling it for £399. Never mind. Set them UP FLB !!!
  23. Just booked on Thai £412 Non stop Out on 20 Oct, back on 03 Nove
  24. Yep just had the prices confirmed bye Ebookers on the blower. Restricted to TG917 Out and TG916 Inbound. All travel to be completed by 30 November at £415 INCUDING TAXES [smiley=grins-jump.gif] Trailfinders offering same flights but for £435 Inc tax
  25. I cant find that fare on Ebookers but Far East Fares are showing it as £414+taxes. Even at that price its a good deal though.
