If the answers are as follows 1. Young 55 or younger 2. No 3. Nothing but drink, gamble, and fuck off 4. Yes or NO RUN LIKE FUCKING HELL Would you get involved with a girl from your own country if her family were all a bunch of lazy idiots who wanted you to take care of them and pay all their bills????

Dreaded???? I would find it hard to believe that any member with less then 700 posts could be considered dreaded. Now those members with over 10,000 posts could easily be put into the category of "dreaded"...... -
For those of you who are dying for some cheese. I would recommend the Millenium Hilton in Bangkok. The evening buffett at Flow restaurant is excellent. (1500 baht a person). It's not cheap but does include their cheese room which has about 20-30 different varieties of cheese. Partook of it myself on Friday and enjoyed it immensely. Good buffet and great cheese....

Typical low class Brit behavior. Doesn't suprise me at all they would act this way even though it's their own stupidity for not having emergency funds for occasions like ummmmmm EMERGENCIES.... -
I have used these people in the past and have gotten good deals from them.. Trips & Travel Sai Travels 500-A Lawrence Expwy Sunnyvale, California 94086 Phone : (408) 737-7000 But you have to be creative when doing your tickets. Here is an example.. Using Airtran from Atlanta to LAX total cost is $279 roundtrip then EVAAIR departing LAX to Ho Chi Mhin City $1140. Total Cost--$1419 this is taxes included.... www.airtran.com www.evaair.com also check out China Air at their website. They were $1422 for LAX-SGN Think about driving them to an airport that is serviced by Southwest or Jetblue or other low cost aircarries and such. The air tran and Eva work out pretty good time wise except for the return trip. Where they get into LAX at 1530 and AirTRan next flight is 1130pm that nite. Dates were Departing ATL on May31 in evening and returning on June 15 Look at departing San Francisco and Seattle. All 3 of those cities are the main hubs for Asia travel. Also look at Korean, Japan, Thai, Air Nippon etc for specials that might be going on....Try flying into Bangkok and then connecting with a low cost airline to vietnam from there. You have to do lots of scenarios to get the best possible price..... These are the airlines that fly out of Atlanta. http://www.atlanta-airport.com/Passenger/Airlines/ www.Kayak.com came back with $1580 Rt If they can be flexible on dates by a few days play with those dates as well..... Use Kayak to see what other airlines fly there and then go direct to the airline websites. In other words find the cheapest flight from ATL or close by airport to LAX,SFO,SEA Most likely your cheapest airlines will be EVA, China, and Korea

Bringing a motorbike on the long haul train?
packhike replied to passport220's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I know the trains have baggage cars so I would think taking the train from Hualampong in BKK you would be able to get the motor bike on. You might find some info here. State railway of Thailand This is how to take a bicycle on a thai train... "Traveller David Mitchell reports: I can confirm that it is indeed possible to take bicycles on Thai trains, or at least the Bangkok to Chiang Mai route, though I’m sure it is similar for the others. You have to send the bike as cargo and it travels in the cargo/guards van. The procedure is to buy your ticket, then locate the cargo office where they will fill out a cargo ticket. They will attach part of the cargo ticket to the bike and part to your passenger ticket – the cost for a bike was 90 Baht each way. You then have to drop off the bike in the cargo car yourself before taking your seat. At your destination you go to the cargo car and collect the bike – you will have to show your ticket & cargo ticket before they will release it. The cargo car gets very full so it is worth turning up early to make sure that there is enough space in it to accommodate your bike. One thing to watch for is station staff trying to earn a bit of extra money by insisting that you have to pay another fee at the destination – just be firm and threaten to involve the police if necessary. I had someone try this scam on me at Bangkok but had no problems in Chiang Mai. One oddity: In Bangkok the cargo office issued the bike ticket but in Chiang Mai the cargo office don’t issue bike tickets, you have to buy tickets for bicycles from the cloakroom (yep, the place where you can leave your coat) which is not exactly obvious!" Found from here..... Seat 61 -
Midlife are your deals for RT or OW as the OP pposted his deal for a OW ticket via China airlines Eva Air will do a OW ticket BKK-LAX leaving March 9th for around $1600US or 53,300 baht all in..... Now Eva is running specials for BKK-LAX/SFO/NYC -Round Trip. Business class is 73,800 baht while Elite class is 33,800 baht. but must be booked by FEb 28th. Which just means March 1st they will have their new specials out. I have flown China Air once via economy from SFO-BKK IT SUCKED FUCKING BIG TIME. I will never, never, fly them again... I don't care how cheap they are. On my return trip home from BKK-Hong Kong I got bumped up to business class and wasn't all that impressed by it. The seats were old and just looked run down. Now this was awhile ago so maybe they have overhauled their planes. I equate them with SouthWest airlines they will get you were you need to go but thats about it....In fact SouthWest is probably better then China Airlines. In my opinion forgo the business class on China Air and go Eva Elite class. Save yourself a bit of money and probably just as good an experience. I am 6'5" and find I have lots of leg room via elite class on EVA. I find them to be a great airline and most people enjoy flying with them.. You also have a seperate check in at BKK airport for Elite class so ticketing is a bit easier. You can also try asking to PAY to use their business class lounge. Did that my last flight and it worked..Now in SFO it didn't . Cost per person for the lounge was about $20 bucks US... I have also flown Business class/Laurel class on EVA and have found it to be good. The only gripe are the seats as they don't fully recline to a flat position and you feel as if you are constantly sliding down. I like the fact they ou can preorder your food online and order items not on the main flight menu. Nothing better then getting lobster while the other folks are stuck with beef or chicken.. Great service and good entertainment equipment.. If you want to see peoples reviews of airlines and their classes check out the following link Airline Reviews Just compare China vs Eva.... And yes I am bored right now with nothing better to do...

How do you download youtube videos?
packhike replied to Obsession's topic in Technical problems or questions.
I believe thats the Realplayer program. Which I use as well. Download for free. Most videos can be downloaded using Realplayer but not all. They also include free conversion software to convert video to Ipod....all for free -
Every time EVA air changes a deptaure time or arrival time I have had them call me to notify me of said change. Most of the time the call has been 1-2 months in advance of my leaving. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen with EVA or any other airline??? Do most airlines call their passengers to let them know or is it just EVA?

Chiang Mai Hotel reccomendation Honeymoon
packhike replied to BillWilson's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Have personally stayed at Suan Bua Hotel the last time being Feb 2009. Very romantic setting, beautiful grounds and great large rooms. Very, Very, Very quiet hotel. It is only about 20 minutes from downtown Chiang Mai. Close to the Nite Safari. It is in area that is know for the garden resorts. Quite a few hotels in the hills that follow this theme but I liked this one the best.. If you can afford it book a junior suite. Great room, free drinks from 5-7pm in the open air lounge. Don't book direct from the hotel website most of the time can get cheaper prices from www.sawasdee.com or www.asiatravel.com Hotel Link http://www.suanbua.com/ -
I always shipped items from the US to Thailand via priority mail flat rate box...Took 6-10 bus days. Larg box was $55 and could put up to 75lbs in it. Med box was $41 and could put up to 20lbs in it. Now these boxes ain't that large so dont think you could actually stuff 75 lbs into a large box. They always made it through fine.....

Here's the difference between coriander and cilantro "Cilantro, also known as coriander, is a plant that is widely used in Asian, Middle Eastern, and Latin American cooking. The plant itself is coriandrum sativum, is indigenous to Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, and is related to parsley. In common usage, at least in the States, cilantro refers to the leaves of the plant and coriander refers to the seeds, which are often ground. There is a pretty big taste difference between the leaves and seeds. The leaves have a very pungent smell and taste and are used in highly seasoned foods. In fact, the leaves have not found broad acceptance in Europe outside of Portugal, which developed an affinity for the taste following its conquests in Africa. (The leaves are also referred to as Chinese parsley and Arab parsley.) The seeds, however, have a spicy, lemony aroma and taste."
