I did take a look at your post for guidence Mick, but I would imagine that hotel would be in the 2500/3000 price bracket in Febuary.

Been looking for a decent hotel on koh samui for Febuary time, ideally would like to pay 1500-2000 baht a night, been checking some sites and most are pretty expensive compared to Patts and bkk. some links for the hotels would be helpful also . would prefer one of te livelier resorts on the island cheers

wouldn`t stay there because quite frankly the manager is a total arsehole. was sat having a drink there last year and I heard him talking to his staff, apparently 2 of his staff had gone off with with some guys, some of the things he was saying was words like ALL TG,s are prostitutes, and they should think themselves lucky to have a job! he was angry, probably justified, but to take it out on the rest of his staff was unacceptable to me.

Was sat in a bar down soi diana on my recent trip and I got talking to an old English fella who had just moved over there, I was intriqued and I asked him how much he was living on? he told me 150 english pounds a week, about 11,000 baht. I said do you find that easy?..he said well Im sat in this bar talking with you aint I and I come here at least 4 times a week, he also had a live in g/f and pays 7000 baht a month rent for what he said was a very decent room

Easter isn`t a big thing in Pattaya, not sure of the dates next year but it could clash with songkran, you really don`t need to book just yet, nrmally not that busy at march/april period, but be warned, its the hottest time of the year

got my confirmation today, booked in a de-luxe room for 3 nights in January, I love the majestic suites but I got my reasons for avoiding it this time, someone knows I will be staying there, and they will come looking for me

you havent actually said when you are travelling, but you could try soi 12 2nd road, thats the soi almost next door to the apex, there are at least 10 guest houses down there, you could try the Dobler house, its about 20 metres down on the left, I stay there and the rooms are very good quality for 450-500 baht a night

I fellas, been looking at some of the reviews on the nana hotel and to be honest not too many are encouraging, but it is a place I want to stay just once on my visits to LOS. I want to book one of the de-luxe rooms, bit expensive at 1690 given the location, as anyone stayed in a de-luxe room there?

accidently strayed upon this place when I was wandering around Jomtien on my recent trip, it located on the road leading down to the beach on the right hand side, for any UK guys that like their fish and chips it is highly recommended, good crispy fish and nice chips with mushy peas, it was great,
