I have been lucky enough to allways find a Pattaya guesthouse/hotel that have Friendly staff and clean (imho, 90%+ of accommodation options in Patts are friendly&clean). As for location, it's a matter of taste. Many of the places i have had my accommodation are at same price range as skytops, but they have had better facilitys and more tasteful decoration, not to forget quality of craftmanship (re paintjobs etc..)+ free drinking water. If i would enter skytops looking for a room and be quoted for 550+ bath/night, i would make a U-turn asap. Just like i did for on finn owned hotel that was about same quality as skytops, but was just 10k/month. (i like to see my room before i pay/stay) I could recomend skytops good value for bath only if it were 200-300 bath/night and only to backpackers, who don't care about quality of accommodation.

After the latest pictures, it is very hard for anyone to claim skytops to be "good value for bath", as it clearly is not.

In Vietnam war there was atleast one Finn, Lauri Törni, who later changed his name to Larry Thorne. In the book The Green Berets by Robin Moore, the "Sven Kornie" main character in the first chapter was based on Larry Thorne. The book was later made into a movie by the same name starring John Wayne.

Didn't notice that until you posted it For a first post a very negative one, maybe a little wind up or BM behind alias. As for my own experiences in PBG, never had anything but exellent service and really tasty thaifood, never tried any falang food there, but then again, i hardly ever eat falang food in LOS.

I thought hottest chili was naga morich, had to google it to find out if i was right, seems it's the same chili as ghost chili, also known as Naga Jolokia, Bhut Jolokia and Ghost Pepper. Hot as hell!! Never again!!

how does it taste?

Room this messy in decoration, cabinet with glass doors looks like second hand buy from food vendor; very small looking bed, maybe 160 cm wide? Possibly even less, so small tv, it would be hard to see from bed and to top it all the "dining area" with PLASTIC CHAIRS AND TABLE tops it all...would i pay 700 bath for this/night? no way! So many better choices for same or even less money with tasty interior decoration, bigger TV, breakfast and equally as good or better location.

been there once with 7 TG's and it was a good deal for the price, one of the better "thai BBQ" type of places. total bill was under 2k. i'm not very handy cooking with chop sticks, thank god i had enough girls to cook for me but...didn't see any SUNDAY ROAST that OP was looking for

same same..meat on stick, sausages isaan style or "assbeans", some sticky rice or something alike, what ever comes around

sauce hollandaise is a sauce usually used with fish and sometimes asparagus... sause bearnise is similar sauce for meats. Location of that steak house don't apply to me, bit off the main area i go to.

gyros i had on crete was pork stuffed pita and topped with olive oil cooked french fries. pork was cooked on döner kebab style like chiken kebabs in patts. this looks like the same, but w/o fries gyros

i been eating just few pizzas in pattaya and usually on bad hangover, best of those was at globetrotters, huge and tasty. for me "pan pizzas" like pizza hut and pizza service are just filling my hunger, not very tasty.

I really enjoyed your place in may several times. Really good place to hang out and eat tasty thaifood.

I hope there will be no delays on opening / opening party as i am in town for most of may. Looking good matey! cheers Yzi
