Alchemy (although now closed was the best i've had in pattaya. accha indian, a small katouy thai place near my house (don,t know the name) el toro Bruno's is'nt bad Casa Pascal, same Lengkee is superb, Mata Hari, nice. (better menu than Bruno's) Marriott buffet is good value for money. With the door 2 door service i've used - Art Cafe, Paradise, all good For seafood up the far end of Jomtien. Ali Baba & Raj- ok. Lastly my wife's thai food is great so i mostly eat at home.

Everything is 1am. Beer bars are the places open late. The only dance clubs which open late are Marine 2 and Boom but they are shut down by 2 -3 am by the police. No further info as i refuse to go in them.

Or Kings Cross to Paddington then take the Heathrow Express train, not cheap but it takes under 15 mins. Depending on the time of day of course you could drive it in just over an hour. I've driven from Longcross Surrey to the Harrods suite in stanstead in about an hour (not reccommended for driving licenses though )

There are alot of houses where you can rent houses that allow dogs. I've lived on a certain village for 3 years now in sth pattaya and although i've bought a house now all my previous houses before were rented and i have 3 dogs. PM me and i'll give you the number of the women who rents them out.

there are loads of restaurants and place suitable for children the best thing is to pick up a guide book when you get here and it will point you to EVERYTHING you want.

A nice island with lovely beaches, beware of expensive accomodation, book first.
