I put some money in my BKK Bank account while visiting and was able to hit it for 20k at a time, but my card from home would only dispense around 17k/day, due to the limits set by the bank at home. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all three of my Thai bank accounts survived to 2014, so I will put a little cash in there to keep them going until my next visit.

I bought a copy Galaxy S4 that worked pretty good, but I failed to check the quality of the camera, and it was only 2 megapixels. I ended up switching back to my old Samsung Omnia II with a 5 megapixel camera before the week was over. It tasted better than the photo looks.

I would only recommend it if you have ZERO back problems. I normally consider my back to be ok, but due to few accidents when I was younger, it ain't the best it could be. That train ride tore me UP bad. I could hardly walk when I climbed down from the 'bed'.
