Have you been to Pattaya before with your wife? Does she know what type of party town Pattaya is? If she doesn't and you want to keep her away from the night life go to the Pattaya Park Hotel in Jomtiem. Nice hotel about 1500 or so per night. I've stayed there with my family and would recommend it.

Your getting good advice from guys. The only way you might be able to get a lower rate are you staying in low season and are you a long term guest, 21 days or more. Talk price only with the manager and pull him away from others as he might not want to cut prices in front of guest paying full boat. Manager is the only one with the authority to cut prices. If you get a better rate, don't brag.

Sky-Top fits the bill. One block from Beach Road, 2 minutes away from soi 6. Quiet location. www.skytoppattaya.com 450 and up. AC, TV, fridge and in room safe. You do have traffic on 2nd Road but with the AC on, I never heard it.

The question of safety continues when the newbie enters his hotel room with a stranger he plans on sleeping with for the night. The ability to lock up ones valuables in a safe in your room holds many advantages. Not all hotels have in room safes. I have stayed at both hotels, I suggested and IMHO they are good value for the money. Many others have stayed at the same hotels and agree with me. I stay at hotels that have in room safe. I lock up all my valuables before I leave. I carry only enough money for the night and I leave my ATM card in the safe. When I get back with my BG, I have her take a shower first. I leave out the money to pay her and lock everything in the safe.
