  1. My all time Pattaya burger is Carl Jr located in Central Festival. They use regular non prime beef. Carl's is almost as good as Five Guy's burger chain located on the USA east coast.
  2. One of my favorite deli sandwich is a corned beef special. Corned beef, Russian dressing and cole slaw on rye bread. Don't forget the pickle on the side. If they offer it give it a try.

  12. For $699 per person, the lowest priced Thailand deal we've ever seen, this six night vacation includes airfare and a stay at a genuine 4-star hotel (we checked) in downtown Bangkok -- past travelers love the location. What you need to know: You read that right: $699 covers air, hotel, breakfast, transfers and taxes. At this price, you could even skip a few nights in Bangkok and book overnight trips in cities nearby. Most flights are on a 4-star or 5-star airline if you fly out of LA or NYC. This deal includes September departures, when there are fewer crowds because it's the end of monsoon season, and October-December dates, the best time to visit. A week is a lot of time in Bangkok, so side trips are a must. We recommend the ruins at Ayutthaya, the rose garden and an elephant sanctuary in Samphran, Amphawa floating market and Koh Kret island. Depart: Sept. 27(NYC only); Oct. 25; Nov. 22; Dec. 6. This deal is priced for departures from Los Angeles and New York City; travelers can take $150 off departures May-December from all major U.S. gateways. Single supplements are also available. If you're going all the way to Thailand, you might want to make this a longer trip by adding three nights on the beaches of Phuket and intra-Thailand air to see a different side of the country. Pricing starts at +$500 per person on Aug. 30 from Los Angeles; additional dates and gateways are available. Hotel Details The 4-star Centra Central Station Hotel in Bangkok is a five-minute walk from the Golden Buddha Temple and across from the Hua Lamphong metro station. Traditional Thai massages are offered at the full-service spa. Past travelers rave about the location and ease of getting around. Book by April 8. Top 20 deal – sells out quickly. 13. Higher end hotels have a better mattress. I like a good nights sleep and when I wake up my back doesn't hurt. IMHO, Westin has the best mattress. My wife and I liked it so much. We bought one.
  14. I've booked a wheelchair numerous times here in the US and Europe many times without a problem. I never made a prior booking.

  16. I was a regular customer at Gregg's Kitchen for years. I'd eat there at least once or twice a day. One time I ordered a pizza and it was the worst pizza I ever ate. Gregg was in England at the time. I waited until he returned and I talked to him privately about what happened. He apologized and said he would make me another one. I said I'd come back in a day or two for the pizza. I come back and asked for my free pizza. He gets very angry and threatens to beat the shit out of me. Needless to say I was taken aback by his reaction. I never went back and I would walk by when he was sitting outside and head to Tropical Bert's on soi 6/1. He lost a steady customer and I never recommended his restaurant again.
  17. Critics say Delta Air Lines is shaming passengers to spend more "Delta Air Lines passengers board a flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Critics say the carrier is shaming passengers into upgrading their basic economy fare ticket. (John Amis / Associated Press) By Hugo Martin contact the reporter Delta Air Lines Upselling has become a major strategy for the airline industry. Carriers grab your attention with a low fare but then try to sell you a roomier seat, early boarding privileges or a refundable ticket, among other extras. A passenger rights group says Delta Air Lines has pushed the tactic to new levels by shaming travelers into buying expensive upgrades. Stunning photos, celebrity homes: Get the free weekly Hot Property newsletter When you choose a basic economy fare on Delta’s website, the final page before you confirm the purchase now lists several restrictions you face if you buy the cheap ticket. It warns that you will be last to board and last to access overhead bin space. It says you will get no seat assignment, no refunds, no ticket changes, no early boarding and no stand-by travel changes. Paul Hudson, president of flyersrights.org, a nonprofit passenger rights group, compared the tactic to a car dealer that pressures buyers into paying for multiple upgrades to a basic car model, such as an expensive sound system. “If it works, other airlines will likely try to follow,” he said. cComments @jackowskme Turn on InPrivate browsing. 18. Condo sector in Pattaya still inactive Published: 11 Aug 2015 at 08:05 63 viewed2 comments NEWSPAPER SECTION: Business | WRITER: Post Reporters "Pattaya's condominium market is expected to remain sluggish this year, as supply remains excessive and developers are concerned about buyers reluctant to have units transferred. Surachet Kongcheep, associate director of property consultancy Colliers International Thailand, said there were no signs of recovery in Pattaya's condo market despite a decrease in launches of new units. The first half saw 10 condo projects launched with 5,280 units, declining from 8,670 units launched in the second half of last year, due largely to negative domestic factors and the global economic situation. "Foreign tourist arrivals have dropped, particularly Russians, who were the main condo buyers in Pattaya," Mr Surachet said. "This has caused a slowdown in the Pattaya condo market despite an increasing number of Chinese arrivals in the past two years, as Chinese are not major condo buyers." He said even though some Chinese investors planned to launch condo projects in Pattaya, the market continued to slow and face an oversupply. From 2011 to the first half of this year, 68,400 units were launched, with 18,000 remaining for sale. "If the number of remaining units is combined with the possible number of speculated units, the number surpasses 22,000," Mr Surachet said. Some 10,000 units are due to be completed in the second half. "They [developers] are very worried about buyers reluctant to have units transferred, as many speculators and investors are in the Pattaya condo market, and Russians, the main buyers, have a weak currency," Mr Surachet said. Tachaya Praphibulsathaporn, sales and marketing director at A.D. Houses Co, said the company had adopted a "buy one, get one free" campaign for three condo projects -- A.D. Bangkok on Nakhon-in Road in Nonthaburi with 952 units, Blue Ocean in Chon Buri's Sattahip district with 1,848 units and The Water Beach in Cha-am with 2,317 units." I pulled the above off of Bangkok Post.
