  1. Same goes for me except I won't be in Pattaya next month. Asahi is my favorite Asian beer.
  2. http://www.theflightdeal.com/2015/05/14/delta-721-dallas-philadelphia-miami-phoenix-bangkok-thailand-roundtrip-including-all-taxes/ You need to move fast. Real fast on this cheap Charley fare.
  3. Check out www.pattayarentaroom.com
  4. Hotel price is always dependent on travel dates. This site is a viable option for up to date information on discount pricing. What is the meaning of AFAIK?
  5. Check out www.latestays.com
  6. I enjoy reading your restaurant reviews. What I find curious. How local restaurants pay American rents, taxes, wages and the cost of food are able to sell food for less then what you paid in Pattaya?

What would you impose on the team and Mr Brady?
  8. Sweet deal, thanks for the heads up.
  9. Meatball sandwich looks good but expensive. I pay this price or less in Philly.
  10. I'd get my eyes examined in my home country. I trust my eye doc and her US med school training.
  11. Carl's in Central Festival serves a good burger.
  12. I prefer my steak medium rare and I have no problem with guys who like their steak well done. I like Ruth Chris Steak house. She knows how to serve meat.
  13. But she has eyes. Just think what it must be like for her. Looking out at a cabin full of old age guys who look like death warmed over.
  14. LOL. I can just imagine what the F/A think about me. Balding, fat old geezer.
  15. Back in the day when I was traveling to Thailand three to five times a year. I used UA almost exclusively. Convenient schedule from Philly. Good price, decent equipment and reasonable service back in the cheap seats. Add in a good frequent flyer program and I was a satisfied customer. Over the years, I noticed a steady decline in on board service. UA also improved their frequent flyer program by taking away benefits. I don't care what the F/A look like. What I am interested in is the number of times they come around with drinks and food.
  16. I like www.omahasteaks.com. Great taste, reasonable cost. We have a Omaha Steak store not far from where I live.
  17. Economic opportunity and a safer environment.
  18. Given that you've lived in Pattaya for many years. I'd be surprised if you had any problems finding your way home.
  19. I'm looking for a mini van with good cargo space. BKK airport to Pattaya. How much for this service?
  20. "Thanks BigD for the information. I look forward to more when you have time." According to a uniformed Custom' Agent today at the Port of Miami. You can bring in a reasonable amount of duty free liqueur into the US as long as it's for personal use. He didn't know what was considered a reasonable number. Tax is minimal and is on a sliding scale based upon alcohol proof. Just declare the number of bottles on the customs form given to you on the plane. FWIW you can only bring in one carton of ciggs.
  21. I always wonder when I hear about the large amount of cash back in the room safe if they can file a claim on their home owners insurance?
  22. She sounds like a girl, I'd like for a long weekend.
  23. Remember you're a foreigner in a strange land with different ways to do business then back in your homeland. Looks like your getting ready to go down a illegal road. I'd look at this very seriously before you embark. Thai jail is no joke and you could spend years in a hellhole. There's a decent movie called Breakdown Palace that gives a good description of life in a Thai prison.
  24. I told the immigration officer who checks passports, I had three bottles of whiskey with me. He directed me to a conveniently located window where I paid the duty. I don't know if there's a limit on the number of bottles you can bring in. I on a cruise right now and will check when I return to Miami in two weeks. I'll get back to you.
