I brought back three bottles of whiskey. I declared it and paid $12.00 duty on two bottles. I would think the same applies to cigs. I'll check two weeks from now when I return to the US.

A friend of mine who taught ESL recommended his students to use English language TV programs for children. They speak correct basic vocabulary English. Good luck with the visa. -

"Funny thing is...I never got a "thank you" from anyone for helping, but what do you expect ...? :clueless" No good deed goes unpunished. Good on you for helping the guy out.

No. Building management can take care of this. "As to the type of water tanks one normally finds in houses, the blue plastic and fibre glass ones don't come with drains. My current stainless tank does have one but it is impossible to get to. You just made me go into the garden and look." I'd consider having a drain installed. You'd be surprised at all the sludge that collects on the bottom of the tank.

Travelling Alone 25th March - 5th April
BigDUSA replied to RifRaf's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
You can have a great time in either place. BKK is more expensive. I'd stay three days in BKK at the end of my trip. Pattaya is a friendly town. Walk into a beer bar and introduce yourself. You'll do fine. Where are you staying?- 4 replies
