Thai Embassy will issue a 60 day visa. I've gotten a 60 day visa twice. I sent my passport to the Embassy in Washington D.C.. No hassle and quick service.

I used Agoda once. I had to cancel my trip two days before I was to leave. No hassle getting a refund.

What if I have a Medigap (Medicare Supplement Insurance) policy? Your Medigap policy may offer additional coverage for health care services or supplies that you get outside the U.S. A Medigap policy is supplemental health insurance sold by private insurance companies to fill “gaps” in Original Medicare coverage. These Medigap policies cover foreign travel emergency care if it begins during the first 60 days of your trip, and if Medicare doesn’t otherwise cover the care. Foreign travel emergency coverage with Medigap policies has a lifetime limit of $50,000. When someone sends you to a business in Asia it's expected they will receive a 10% commission when you buy. I'm not talking about a small purchase at a 7-11. This the way business works in Asia and in many parts of the world.

Indonesia has cat shit coffee. Very expensive.

They get a 10% commission on the first months rent.

When I'm home, I rarely go to McDonald's. There are better breakfast options available. Plus I pour a way better cup of coffee. I tend to use McDonald's when I'm on a road trip. Good coffee and reasonably clean toilet.

Duncan Donuts sells a good cup of coffee but McDonald's sell their coffee for a better price. I like Starbuck's blend. We drink Starbuck's Columbian at home.

I said here in the US. They serve a very good cup of coffee at a reasonable price.

Here in the US McDonald's serves a very good cup of coffee for $1USD. I'd give them a try in Pattaya.

I agree they can be annoying. I find a polite but firm no thank you works way better then "fuck off".

I don't agree with the general tone of Gabor's remarks. The Japanese military during WWII were extremely brutal to POW's and the Chinese civilian's. When they are in charge watch out the subservient SOB's are one nasty people. Years ago a friend of a friend did a year's prison time. He stated the guards were nasty, sadistic brutes.
