  1. you can post any chart you want but the facts are the airlines where not going to purchase the original A350. If this wasn't true why would Airbus trash the original and then redesign the airplane with all the cost and delays?
  2. It was widely reported that no commercial customers were willing to buy the original A350. I guess you forgot about that.
  3. What are you talking about or are you just being silly again. BTW LMAOAY.
  4. Sky-Top guest house is for sale. Located on 2nd Road couple of doors down from Gregg's Kitchen.
  5. What can I say but thank GOD you have the time to go back through my old post's and see if I made an error. Let's see January 2006 and here it is October 2007 and I got it wrong. Yah know that's one of the problems I have being able to make so many trips each year they tend to run together. I have to admit it's a 'nice' problem I have and one you can't afford. Once again I have to LMAOAY and your anal retentive ways. Your one weird guy. I look at anything that's 'all new' with skepticism especially if my ass is in it at 35,000 feet. I like to see a track record established before I get in it.
  6. Thai had been flying that route well over a year when I finally flew with them.
  7. I wonder how many of these planes have the jury rigged wiring harness? I would be concerned about a wiring fire. Will Airbus go back and rewire these planes with the new wiring? I wish Airbus well and look forward to flying on the A380 in a year or two. I never buy a car in the first model year and damn well won't fly on job 1 and I don't give a shit who makes it.
  8. Couple of guys I know who must stay at a hotel with internet finance their trip by online futures trading.
  9. Check out the corner bar on the right side of soi 8 and Beach Road looking toward 2nd Road. Nice group of expats meet every day around 5PM. Tell them Denny sent you and you'll be made to feel welcome.
  10. All you have to do is 'ask nice'. I think we need a separate topic for BG from Issan that need nose jobs.
  11. Open as needed. Bottle opener on a string might work?
  12. One of the biggest turn off for me is walking into a bar and the fucking music is to damn loud. I think most bar owners/managers are hard of hearing as I like to be able to talk to the person sitting next to me. Most sound systems are CRAP. Tired knock off JBL or no name Thai speakers played with the bass/treble controls maxed out. I want a stun gun available so I can damn near kill the BG that after I harangue the staff to turn that shit down two minutes later goes over and cranks the shit out of the volume control. Rant over.
  13. I like the five minute rule where I get to enjoy my beer, cool off from the Thai heat and humidity and then have the mamasan come over.
  14. I agree, I like my beer COLD and yes, I'll drink more especially if the bar offers peanuts, pretzels and pretty BG to go along with this.
  15. I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 that I use in the US. I've driven in NYC and even with all the tall buildings it manages to keep track of the sats. USA maps have glitches. Garmin makes a quality unit. I would recommend guys going to Garmin's website and d/l the updates for your unit.
  16. Except for the location Sky-Top meets all of your requirements. Sky-Top is located on 2nd Road one block from Beach road with easy access to WS. Way cheaper then 2K per night. www.skytopcenterpattaya.com
  17. No pool at the MJ but they have a new sister hotel that may have a pool. Breakfast was included in my room rate.
  18. I've stayed at the Majestic Suites many times and I highly recommend it. Book early as it's very popular.
  19. Sky-Top recently painted all the rooms. Installed new showers with non slip tiles. One block from the beach on 2nd Road. The place is clean with in room safe, AC, TV and fridge. Internet cafe downstairs. On site laundry with same day service. Cheap rates. www.skytopcenterpattaya.com
  20. Once again another silly statement. LMAOAY
  21. As long as you go through life looking at your shoes it will be 1/10. Assuming your a first rate carpenter and have picked up some skill in plumbing and electrical work. Your skill set will earn you a decent living in LOS. Go after the expat market. Guys are pulling their hair out everyday dealing with Thai contractor.
  22. One of the reasons I plan on renting instead of buying in LOS. They can and will change the rules and sometimes without the benefit of grandfathering in current residents.
