BM LBJ has had mod authority for quite some time, and I just moved him to the viewable moderator group. He's an easy touch, has been there for emergencies where I wasn't able to access the board, but now I'm making him a public figure, so you guys know. Regarding the pharmacy cost at BPH vs Fascino's...I thought the same as you, that the hospital pharmacy was overly expensive...just because. I told my doctor I wanted to buy meds outside the hospital, so he wrote me a prescription for a few pills (hospital policy) and I took the meds to Fascino and bought another month's supply. The price difference was negligible..perhaps 100 baht on a bill of over 5000 baht. I was amazed that they were virtually the same price. The discount card I got gives me a measly 2% off at Fascino's. If you do go the angiogram route and want to do it locally, I'd recommend the cardiology department at BPH. I am a patient of Dr. Piya, and he seems pretty good, though I'm not really qualified to evaluate a cardiologist, except to say, I'm still alive.

I've promised the missus that I'd teach her to drive a car or get someone to teach her...it's been 4 years now, and it's about time I followed thru. So, after a moment of self-examination, I have decided that there is no way I will teach her in my car...patience and collision repairs outweigh my desire to save money on training. Consequently, I would like to know if anyone has any first or second hand recommendations for a driving instructor or school with a good reputation in the South/Central Pattaya or North Jomtien area. Links, phone numbers, prices, etc would be appreciated.

Mea culpa. On second thought, I confused this place with another that was doing that in Central Pattaya. My gf went for a few months and started calling me SATAN, so I discouraged her from going, lest she read up on and decided to perform an exorcism while I slept.
