Good point. For extraction, they are generally too week. It's a man's job. I had two extracted by a small woman, and she was really struggling. I thought she'd have to call in the motorcycle drivers to finish the job.

The first 5 were genuine laughs...the last one has been around a while. Still 5 out of 6 is a good score!

WTF short? -
Yep, good eye. It was Micky Dolenz (I had to look that up). Just as an aside, I was at the Monterey Pop Festival...drove up from Santa Barbara on a Suzuki 250 on the spur of the moment...no rooms available, slept in the park, gate crashed several shows (security was obviously lax). However, I didn't catch Ravi Shankar.

Nice!

Damn, I guess we don't have an ass-kissing smiley. I need to remedy that.

He was not in the version of the movie where Uma Thurman was cast, so that answer is not correct. Zero played in the 1968 version, and Uma was in the 2005 version, both movies named "The Producers".

Now, now! Be nice.

From what country is the passport? He might be able to renew his passport at his country's embassy here in Thailand within the 15 days. Depending on the visa type, he might also apply for an extension at the local immigration office. I think we need more information.

Actually, I was. I came up with the name several years ago as a joke when we actually got some pics of balloon chasers...they are obvious by their or, ndering the cheapest drink, hardly touching it, consuming more than one full plate, not intermixing with any other guests (usually they come alone). One guy was a real master at this. He brought his Thai girl, bought a water for himself and gave her the glass while he drank from the bottle. They both loaded up their plates on each trip to the buffet, then he ate both. It takes all kinds. Anyway, that site is actually designed to list eating events for serious balloon chasers, so it isn't at all what I would hope it would be. I'll now name my new fictitious site, www.fuckingballoonchasers.com

I usually make it to Jack Tar bar across from Red Point. They have a very good selection of food. But then, my lawyer is right next door, so I'm usually there on business.

I think his moniker is Hawaii Bob. Don't get Miami involved in these nutcases. He's to be seen as, of all things, a volunteer foreign tourist policeman, sans parrot. Edit in: No wait. I know Hawaii Bob, and he's alright. This fellow is "bob4you".

Pattaya Beach today covered in rubbish
MM replied to Chris100UK's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Not lots of fireworks? Not lots of crowds at the beach 2 days before watching the fireworks? Hmm. Okay, maybe it's leftover from Loy Krathong. Probably a combination of the two this year. The beach has had a lot of activity over the last week.
