  1. To hell with them. I water them and my feet get wet because she didn't put down any bases on the pots. Then the balcony is dirty. They can wait for the rain or die.
  2. Damn rain never made it to Buddha Hill. That means I might have to water the roses myself.
  3. Still nothing but a few drops in southmost Pattaya....but I did spot a weak rainbow....
  4. Yeah it's not arrived in south pattaya yet either, but I hear it coming!
  5. I've heard the boards sometimes rat-a-tat-a-tat , but haven't noticed them being clicky.

Dan Rather... oops I mean Nick Nolte.
  8. There's a really informative thread started by Bazle recently. Look for that..it has all the answers you need. Here it is http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...c=53823&hl= Read Gonzo's posts...good stuff.
  9. It means "not of interest" or "not interesting" (mai naa son jai)
  10. No need...problem solved (for the moment). Friendship is carrying tinned salmon again
  11. I don't see his response as arguing, just making a case for why someone might ask the question based on other treaty arrangements elsewhere. Furthermore, several people answered the OPs question, and some even provided useful information, including a comparison to a Central American treaty group from ricktoronto. btw, I really appreciated Gonzo's information about the passport office in this thread.
  12. Now you're playing hardball over that warning level, aren't ya?
  13. Here ya go... http://pattayatoday.net/entertainment/dini...brazilian-beat/
  14. I'm fine with a higher cost for a tastier meat If you bring some, please make sure it's not packed in some weird sauce. What's with tomato and mustard sauces with canned fish? Eeeew. Spring water, olive oil .
  15. Can we please go back to salmon?
  16. I just happened to check new posts shortly after you posted. And, yes, I am online all the time, and yes, I get it to my phone too. Somebody's got to keep an eye on this crowd
  17. Any 8 digit number will do. Most spam robots can't figure out the question, but most humans can. Apparently we have 2 who can't
  18. Those are great. Keep them coming!
  19. I've not been able to find any lately!
  20. I'll say it again (and maybe this time highflier will figure out what it means).

    Super Bowl 45

It was a good game, what I saw of it when I wasn't dozing off. I napped for a bit at 21-3 and woke up in time for the Steelers' coming back from a devastating point gap...then fuck, I fell asleep at the 4th quarter. I envy the folks in the Americas who can watch it during the normal daytime. The half time show was mightily soporific, however, so I blame the Black Eyed Peas, Usher, and that ostentatious costuming they thought was "cool". Bring back rock bands.

  24. I had a similar problem flying with Thai Airways from BKK to Udon Thani. I had purchased the tickets on the Thai Air web site using a "virtual internet VISA card" (meaning there was no actual physical card, but it was a valid VISA card number, expiration date, and CVV) from Kasikorn Bank. At the very end of the transaction it told me to bring the card I used to the airport for check-in. I thought (er, hoped) they might be kidding. In fact, they weren't kidding, and my ticket was unusable without the card. I had to repurchase tickets at the airport and request a refund for my tickets booked with that card. Incidentally, that's the only time I can recall having to produce my credit card, except at an automated check-in station, where the credit card used to purchase the ticket is needed to locate your flight information.
  25. Glad to hear it.
