Here's today's special Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I don't get the impression it's an Italian place..the chef is Thai, but grew up in Australia where she was trained as a chef. I hesitate to assign a category to the food choices, since I've only glanced at the menu. I usually go for the "special" for the day, which she posts on Facebook...if it looks good, I'm likely to go there, since it's quite close to my place. Next time I go, I'll take a harder look at the menu and see if I can figure out if there's any particular category. Certainly they offer Thai dishes. I guess I'll have to go back right away In the meantime, here are

Yes, he's stated he is one of the backers/partners, same as Bite Me. He's done quite well piggy-backing off copying this forum.

Pre-opening chance to check out the new restaurant 23@Pattaya Hill last Saturday. A chance to view the venue, the views, and sample some tasty treats, tapas, paella, and meatballs of some sort. Everything was prepared with flare and nicely presented. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

What a great little place on Soi Khopai, the Rock Kitchen (see the pinned post in this section for the location on the Pattaya Restaurants Map) First off, the bruschetta with tomato was HUGE, unlike any I've had before, with a variety of ingredients. 80 baht! The next pictures are various views of the braised chicken in tomato and red wine sauce with sweet potato mash and green vegetables. 195 baht. Note...For those who must eat in air conditioned comfort, this place might not be to your liking, since it is open air (albeit with shade from roof). Bruschetta with tomatoes...a verit

A woman whose appearance has gone through the most changes of anyone I've seen in films, aside from perhaps Robert DeNiro and Christian Bale.... Bridget Jones like this: Jerry McGuire: Chicago like this: And today, like this: Renee Zellwegger P.S. Yeah, I have a crush on her

If I can break my habit of eating at Le Petite Planete, I will give it a try. I am just astounded by the growth in the number of western food eateries lately, especially ones that are serving quality, fresh, foods. This relatively small town is truly cosmopolitan in the choices we get.

I'm guessing if you lift the right arm and then push it down fast, it's a slot machine.

TBH, when someone does the held out hand gesture, I am tempted to run them down. I think it incites that emotion in many, especially Thais, because it's so arrogant to think that you, the pedestrian, in the sights of the hood ornament of the oncoming car, can command them to stop by holding out your hand. Normally, people will stop without such an arrogant gesture..and if they don't, you should be ready to leap. I did, of course, keep my eye on oncoming traffic...but yes, I kind of cheated, because it was near the Sukhimvit junction, and traffic was going to slow anyway. My tried a

While waiting for my car to get washed, I had occasion yesterday to use a zebra crossing on Thapprasit Road. Amazingly, I am still here to write about it. Cars actually stopped for me...and no, I don't hold out my hand to ward them off.

Good point....but let's backtrack as we usually do, no matter how far it goes back. Still on L.A. Confidential

Well, assuming my theory is correct that he is in fact looking for ways to rattle your cage...just a theory, of course, then I'll take a leap into the mists of psychological guesswork, and say it's because he thinks you pick on Gabor too much. I personally think it's impossible to pick on Gabor too much...sort of an oxymoron for this forum. This is all speculation of course.

Yes, I can't see cars giving up 40 meters of leeway for a tourist crossing the street. If they made it any longer, they might just as well extend it the whole length of 2nd Road and say "Cars must yield to all pedestrians".

Being the unbalanced one in this exchange, I will only say that I called it as I saw it when I was there. I expect it will take a bit of time for anything substantive to change at Pandora's, and that is a pity indeed. Of course, if they continue to stock the place with the kind of women you prefer, then it will never be on my radar. I also know Ricky quite well, and I can assure you that if he could fill the bar with young, good-looking girls, he would work them into shape where they were both nice to look at and nasty as fuck.
-
teelack, I have nothing more to add, nor excuses for my opinion. We have different tastes in what we like in a gogo. There's your diversity. You can be happy in Pandora's and I'll be happy in Palace. Nothing wrong with that.

Actually, as jacko says, opening the topic while not logged in fails...but that's likely an error in their forum permissions, since the subforum is "public" and the restaurant forum is not protected...I would say their intention was for it to be searchable by search engines, but somebody didn't set it up correctly (probably too busy adding advertising content to every spare cm of space on the page). In any event, the other rule, where the cross-poster requires the OP's permission to post applies to you, since you are both the OP and the cross-poster. Much ado about nothing, and jacko i

Same here. No foul. Rules 12 and 18 cover the infractions Either way, you're in the clear, esp since you are the author.

Bordeaux restaurant fresh oyster promotion. Yummy yummy
MM replied to Gtruch's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
If they are as you claim fresh oysters from France , then that's a very very good price for this town . Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk -
I hate to say it, but a friend and fellow BM and I went into Pandor(a)'s last week, and after we left, we decided that we could always find a silver lining in any gogo in town by just saying "Well, at least it's not as bad as Pandora's". Maybe we were there on fright night, but it is my firm belief that they need to review their recruiting standards.
