Arno, cousins, and Sybarite and one and the same person.

Typical behavior of each is to pile on when someone has a controversy, leading the charge from the rear to "string him up" without a shred of backing or proof.

His statement in the ABOUT ME section is full of inaccuracies and lies.

I offered him a chance to return if he picked one of the three ids, but he won't a

  2. hankphone, thanks for your membership request. Now you can read all the good stuff.
  3. Pitch the tomato and the beans, and it's a wonderful looking meal. I must remember to say "hold the beans" next time I have an English breakfast. Once they touch the eggs, I have to do surgery on the eggs. Btw, it does look excellent.

  5. Your location descriptions are all over the place. You have Lollipop (WS) near Windmill (Soi Diamond), now you're talking about the next place beyond Babydolls (Soi 15!). I think you might have been pissed. As I recall, though I've not been there in months, the next place past Babydolls is called Illusions...on the left as you go away from WS on Soi 15. LB's there? I wouldn't be surprised. But, so what? This is a topic about....LOLLIPOP agogo. The thing is, for you to say, without a shred of credibility, since you obviously have no idea where you were or have been, that Lollipop had LB's in it, is just irresponsible.
  6. bigleg, what are your hours when you are open for food service?
  7. That's my day! And I wonder where the time goes.
  8. I knew you'd find some way to fill your time tonight! Well done. Bump.
  9. Did you put it on the Event Calendar? Then it bumps itself into view.
  10. I'll try to get there early before you're carried out at 11:30pm.
  11. Key money is not always required for a lease. I have been involved with leasing several business properties and none of them required key money.
  12. That's why the photographer took the picture from that angle, I'm sure.
  13. You're familiar with the salon/car rental shop just to the right of lolita's as you're facing it. I think the lady who owns it (or is trying to sell/rent it) is named Da. I talked to her a couple of years ago because my GF thought it would be a good deal for me to rent it (for her) for 80k/month. I told Da that was ridiculous and she came down to 60k. I checked around and the other units were going for between 25-40k/month...so I said "thanks, but no thanks". Anyway, during the discussion, she told me that she could also sell the freehold to the place, implying that she (and her bf) owned it, not the Lengkee's. Then again, she might have been bs'ing me. I didn't really care. I think she was looking for 15M baht.
  14. I heard it was for sale a year or so ago. From what I heard, there was a cash flow problem.
  15. It's a bit out of the way (but accessible by baht bus) being situated near Pattaya 3rd Road and Pattaya North Road. Very nice rooms and accommodations , however.
  16. Look at the names of the photos on your computer hard drive. Find the name of the picture(s) you want to delete. Then go to the uploade attachment list and delete them from there. Or insert the ones by that name into the body of the message.
  17. No word yet from the police, but the television news is saying that July 7, 2009 will be alcohol-free in honor of a Buddhist holiday. July 8, the entry into Buddhist "Lent" is potentially dry, but that's not clear either. So, from what I know right now, July 7 will be dry (maybe bars open but no music and no obvious alcohol sales), and July 8 might be a closure as well. The hard line religious types seem to be carrying the day this year. With the government so tenuously holding power, they don't want to piss off any strongly committed groups...and religious fanatics are the most strongly committed of all.
  18. You bet. Low season and all, you know.
  19. Free food! Cheap shooters! I'll try to make it for a bit. Save me a plate of western food .
  20. (Very) Occasionally the police take a walk down Walking Street. When they are on the street, the kids and their minders scamper to the sois off the street and wait till they're gone. Ten minutes later, they are back. Obviously they know that the police would stop them if they could catch them, or why do they run? I guess no one ever thought of plain clothes enforcement. And, like davethailand, they never bother me anymore. I give them "the look" and they immediately scan for someone else to hug/rob.
  21. "Zombie" by the Cranberries. A very "Thai" song for some reason. Edit in : Er, what knortyboy said.
  22. There are, from what I hear, some very nice little European style restaurants in the area. The one thing I learned while I was in San Francisco is that gays open and operate the best restaurants around.
  23. If it was on a bed of rice with kale, I'm guessing it might have been what I think is called khao na phet yang. I always forget the name too. No, the guay tiow (sort of sounds like that) is noodle soup (where you order your noodle size...sen mii, sen lek, sen something-else-but-big-noodles). It's in a broth and then they add the meat...pork, beef, duck etc. Lovely stuff you eat with chopsticks and a short spoon.
  24. My god, we have something in common. Luckily my GF loves it too, and as it happens, we used to go to Fra Pattaya as well..but we had guaytiaw phet yang instead. Hang a bbq'd/roast duck in a display case, and I'm right there or mark the place for return. Yes, I heartily recommend Vientiane's duck curry. The sauce itself is wonderful, and when/if they load it up with the duck meat...
  25. Vientiane is my favorite "order out" restaurant on Door 2 Door. Their barbequed duck curry (gaeng pet phet yang) is spectacular. They also package the food nicely so when it arrives, it's palatable.
