I went to the new Villa in Pattaya and, among other things, bought some chicken and mushroom pies (made locally). The next day, I decided to cook one and noticed that the "Best Used By" date was the day before...the day I bought them! I was not impressed.

This section and its topics are a small part of the forum's topics. Please do not clutter the topic lists (especially for those who do View New Posts) with eye-catching, strident announcements in all capitals, using *'s or other punctuation marks without a proper basis in good grammar. It's like shouting. I have modified several topic headings already, but future topics that continue to be strident attention grabbing shouts will simply be deleted. Thanks.

What FFM program are you with? I think it depends on who your miles are with.

I'm sure the more knowledgeable will respond, but I have to ask you are you wanting just FFM miles or EQM (Elite Qualifer Miles)? The EQM's are the holy grail of the yearly mileage accrual, since they generate huge benefits in the following years (upgrades. short lines, access to lounges, etc), whereas FFM miles are only good for free travel..which is not a bad thing.

Actually, I was there representing my stomach. I did see another Thurs bar crawl participant there, manracer, so at least 4 of the Thurs crowd made it. My vote is BEEF MADRAS.

I will say shane_sangthip#1 and SKINBAD both sent me emails claiming to be different people posting from the same computer. That's not exactly proof. I have to get suspicious when two ids are used in the same thread to support a particular position, and both of those ids are posting from the same computer.

Glad Chef could find a plate for me even without my reservation. I had a window of free time and an empty belly, and that spicy mango chicken curry was just excellent. Nice to see an elephant for a change too.

The "for obvious reasons" sort of says it all. I defer to PattayaPete for a definitive response, but my sense is that you can't do it without violating the security of the members' forum. However, you might contact the author and ask him to send it to you as a link from his own source.

This thread has become a bit too heated, especially for the open section which is harvested by search engines. I am moving it to the business section. I also would appreciate it if the flaming and name calling stopped at this point. I leave it to you to figure out what happens if not. Oh, and jackjones is not otherway.

Bad idea to conflict with the bar crawl, mulphy. But it's your call. FYI last night we had 26 guys, some of whom might have come to a Friday curry feed. I don't think the problem is that it was Friday, but that you were out of town, and most people knew it.

Don't you just need to leave the country, enter Cambodia (closest) and then return with a new arrival card and stamp? There isn't any other paperwork that I know of.

Mulphy, you've done this sort of thing before, where you announce an event and then apparently expect people to RSVP via a reply to the topic. It's appropriate for the curry nights, but not to be expected for a general, open-to-the-public night offer. Hammer announces the bar crawls, but a lack of response to the topic, or even numerous responses to the topic, does not in any way indicate how many people will actually show up. So, just post your event and wait to see what happens. Then let us know how it turns out.
